A question that I'm almost afraid to ask is, how's gas availability in the area? |

I talked to him. He is stopping at Jim's for Q before coming through Wolf Pin. Bringing the blast. |

We had one bike go down with out any serious injury. Four of us with a rope and volunteer local with a pickup got the XB out of a ravine. Short scenario: Borrowed machine and GP shift were the main culprits. Bike will see another day of pavement. |

I made it back home sunday night at 2000. 3300 miles in 5 days on my CR...my ass is a bit sore, but i had a great time. It was wonderful to see old friends and meet some new (to me) buellers, as well. Thanks buellish for the ride to Jim's and sorry to everyone behind me, at least you got a laugh out of my weak corner game (I get a pass, i'm from kansas, a trip to the twisties once or twice a year is all I ever get, takes a bit of time to knock the rust off). I lost a kickstand spring & bracket arm at some point on Thursday in Tennessee and my battery gave up on me Saturday evening somewhere in Alabama. Luckily, a screen door spring and $.99 bungee cord took care of the kickstand and there was a AutoZone across the street from the gas station where my battery decided to crap out. Probably my own fault, as I swapped to a little bitty lithium just before leaving on the trip and I don't think it had the reserve capacity to keep up with the anemic charging system at idle (sat in traffic for about 30 min just prior to it dying, coolant temp was up to 230+ and took a long time to come down to normal 180-190, I imagine the stator was a bit hot too). Good times! (Message edited by cupcake_mike on May 25, 2021) |

I had a great time. Nice to meet everyone. Eyed these events for years and listened to Crusty speak highly of them. I am glad I went and can't believe I waited so long. Thanks everyone for the good time. |

This will be my second wakey home since TWoS. As usual, happy to be home to see my honey and my dawgies, back to honeydo's and real life. This weekend was fantastically surreal. And flat awesome. As usual! Folks kept saying "we're getting the band back together" and we did... but what kind of music did we hear? The beautiful and wild music of our Buells singing through the mountains at full tilt, constant laughter with endless smiles, and a symphony of hoot owls at night. Epic is about the only word I have to sum it all up. One after another, a familiar and beloved Buell sibling arrives. A few long lost, only to return triumphantly with countless tales of their lives lived since we last parted. The roads rode with the peerless and masterful guidance of our local guy Mike in the lead, naturally and inevitably taking us to the BBQ we'll have one day in Heaven. And then the campfires, leisure and laughs, guffaws and tears of joy and wackiness. We had it all and reveled in it. TWoS is nothing less than our own Eden, all we have to do is depart from our regular lives to live as the superheroes we each have come to be. "Do it again, do it again!!!"

It was good to meet you Greg (Sprink),hope you come back in October! Well said Brad! What's up with that damn chicken suit? Best event we've had in years! I enjoyed seeing and riding with friends both old and new! If we're getting the band back together Brian W and I will hold down the guitars. If we could ever get Hugh back to Suches, he's the bass player (can you say bass,I knew that you could). That leaves several slots still open, what are your talents Buellers? |

I got the cowbell and theremin. I might take a shot at crappy drums, or harmonica that would make a dog kill himself. Or I could sing? |
