Looks like I can only stay friday night at TWOs, to avoid having to pay for a second night I wont use in a cabin, is anyone interested in splitting a cabin with me? No rooms available in the lodge, either. Camping isn't really an option as I'll be riding about 3500 miles in the week prior. Let me know. | ||

C3 Central originally was the cabin we started renting in 2006 for Buell Madness and Buelltoberfest. C3 was the Buell group from North Carolina. Carolina Corner Carvers. Unfortunately it's been sold and no longer available for rent. C3 central has been any cabin we rent as a group when we have a weekend of mountain riding planned. I just saw a pretty good review of a BBQ joint 5.5 miles north of TWoS on Rt. 60 called Wildcat BBQ and store. They also sell gas, but I can't tell if it's ethanol free. Anybody got any info? or maybe we'll just have to swing by and check their Brisket out. The Brisket got 5 stars on Gargle. Maybe do Jim's on Friday and Wildcat on Saturday? Or Jim's on Thursday and Wildcat on Friday and the better of the two on Saturday? My anticipation is growing! (Message edited by Crusty on May 13, 2021) | ||

From what I've heard from a reliable source, Wildcat is not bad but it's expensive and the portions are said to be small.Nobody I know eats there with Jim's in the vicinity. | ||

I have yet to find ribs that are better than Jim's, but I like many different kinds of BBQ. Kind of like I really love good New Mexico Mexican food, but I also love Tina's Red Hot Beef Burritos at 5 for $2.00. A few years ago, Froggy and I ate BBQ every day because we wouldn't get the chance for six more months. I'll probably eat BBQ on three days while I'm there and it might be nice to just check out Wildcat. Or I might want to get one more half rack from Jim's. It's nice to have options. | ||
