It has three wheels and a steering wheel instead of handlebars, BUT it leans into turns like the Yamaha Niken or the Piaggio MP3. Both of those last two vehicles have handlebars just like a normal motorcycle. Also, just like a normal motorcycle, they steer via counter-steering... pressure on the handlebar in the direction you want to go actually steers those two front wheels in the opposite direction to invoke a lean and it is the lean that actually makes you change direction.
I don't see how this could work with a steering wheel. I can already picture people turning the vehicle the wrong way and running off the road because the connection between steering wheel and counter-steering isn't going to be as intuitive as handlebars and counter-steering.
It is a LEANING trike, just like the Niken and the Piaggio MP3. I've ridden the Niken, and it countersteers just like any other motorcycle I've ever ridden. In fact, if you blind folded someone, sat them on a Niken and then removed the blind fold (so they never saw the front end) they'd never know they were on a three-wheeler. It turns by counter-steering, not by steering (like a non-leaning trike such as a Spyder or Stryker).
