Barkley gets to come to work with me every day. One of my coworkers bought this for him. Keeps the riff raff out of the showroom.

I love Barkley. Shoggin, no worries... it's flipped into the archive page now. Maybe THIS page can just be about how good life is. Every day since Saturday I have come home to a bowl of Grippo's potato chips, thanks to my friend Crusty! |

I Love Barkley too! Good looking guy he is for sure! Life IS Good. I have my dogs, kinda decent health, a bed, a roof, food and clothes on my back. I'm blessed and thankful. |

Just got done masticating my last piece of Marco's pizza pie, now swallowing down my piehole. M's back, made coffee for my wakey, gots leftovers for my lunchey manana, and I have maybe one or two shits to give towards much of anything- but I love youn's. Got home today with overly ambitious plans to go on a MC ride. Decided instead to have beverages out back with my hunny, and the dogs, one assuming the sunning position in a deck chair, the other doing the "jump in dad's lap and be King Of The World!!!) Soaked in the hot tub, showered, ate pizza and failed Jeopardy. If they ever make Redneck Jeopardy, I'm in. We got to almost 70 today. (Message edited by 86129squids on February 10, 2021) |

We got to almost 70 today. I knew I should have headed South!! It was a high of 21 here, 16 right now. All my battery chargers are hooked up! Only my SUV leaves the garage anymore! Sounds like a nice evening Brad! |

Greg; it could be worse. We have the same temperatures and we also got half a foot of additional snow this afternoon. That's OK; I needed a bit of Cardio and I got to socialize with a couple of my neighbors while we were all out shoveling. While shoveling, I was thinking about my friend in Massachusetts who had to deal with a 20" snowfall last week. Six inches of fluffy snow beats the hell out of 20 inches of heavy compacted snow any day. He said it took him almost four hours to get everything shoveled out. It was light until almost 6:30 PM. The length of sunlight is noticeably getting longer. Summer's coming! |

We are in a deep freeze with icy roads. Jerry is experiencing a real bad case of PMS. (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome). Someday, and I mean it, we will get out of the cold, snowy Midwest! But until then, there's YouTube and BadWeb. |

I am driving to Birmingham through a big rainstorm. Listening to satellite radio in a heated cab and snacking on Grippos. I am in my element. |

Life is grand. Heat in the house is working. My wife is a great help meet. I'm on track for a new bike in 18 months. Credit cards are paid off. God is too good and has allowed me to wake up breathing again today. I have friends. I learn something new every day. Lil Red is getting a touch-up. I'm camping in May. There is food in the freezer. There is snow on the ground and Tracey likes snow. |

Life is good and those who bless our lives with wisdom, inspiration, good humor, good news like Zane's, or just shared experiences like Crusty, Brad, Matt, Court, RD, and all you other great people comprise much of what counts as good in our lives. Seeing the gospel message shared/repeated out of genuine love sure is good. Some may not see it that way. It seems wise to choose to assume the best in intentions. Zane inspires in his thoughtful understanding. Zane: Did you receive immunotherapy? Forecast low for Monday night is currently 5°F here in Kilgore, Texas. Gah! Can that be good? I've been cleaning and organizing the shop/shed/catch-all for stuff that we can't toss, but don't want in the house. It's suffered years of neglect and a rodent invasion. The roll-up door framing needs weather stripping at the top where when closed has a good 2" gap to the door. Not Mueller's best design work. I've a rubber wiper type seal to install. But then, how to insulate a corrugated single ply steel roll up door? Solving such challenges also make life good. |

But then, how to insulate a corrugated single ply steel roll up door? I've seen rolls of silver mylar coated bubble wrap type material for them. |

>>>Forecast low for Monday night is currently 5°F here in Kilgore. Mid-80's here again today and I am dreading heading to the arctic next week after 7 months of hiding. I've found that surfing is more fun that drilling caissons in the midst of winter. Jimmy Buffet, it turns out, was on to something. I feel your suffering with regard to the rodents. Contractor arriving April 1 to start work and the cases, cases and cases of Buells shirts, likely now mice food, need purged . . . so off I go to the great Northern tundra. The upside is that the rebirth of a legendary S2 will also be getting underway. |

Court, Is that S2 the one with an 80" engine and stage 2 or 3 heads that NRHS did? I would love to see it in action! Life is good. Today I spent 40 minutes chiseling ice off the Tahoe's windows. I was cursing to myself for most of the time, frustrated with the whole endeavor. Then I remembered not having any transportation other than the Uly. I remembered riding in 5° weather with no heated gear other than the right grip of the bike. Remembered over two years of no enclosed vehicle, and coming home cold, numb, wet, and really ticked off. So by the time I was finished with the windows, I was wet and tired, but grateful. Today life is good. |

It is that very bike. So many folks so generously jumped on board and Aaron built the stock motor to end all stock motors. What started as a “simple refresh” morphed to an epic project with folks like Ron Dickey stepping up to make a set of barrels. Virtually every piece was blueprinted and, in pretty much stock configuration, it was showing something like 114RWHP at the wheel. I ride very little these days but I’m looking forward to having this monster back in top form. There’s a lot of Buell history in that bike while it was traversing 44 states. One of my most respected builders has agreed to add it to his queue and hopefully that’ll happen this summer. |

I have collected all kinds of survival gadgets. I use them on rare occasions. To figure out how blessed I am I go camping. Then I take note of the stuff I packed that didn't get touched. I always pack too many things. Now just because I never fire the gun does not mean it wasn't used. Two changes of clothes that were not used and I make a note for next time. I often come back with an un-opened MRE. Blessed is what I am. |

Blake, No, no immunotherapy but the stuff they are giving me is working well. Liver and lungs are cleared of cancer and the colon tumor is much smaller. I'm also having problems with a swollen prostate and have been wearing a catheter/foley bag for a couple of days short of a month. When I went to the E.R. they drained 2 liters of urine. Looks like I'll have it in for another 2 weeks. I'm sooooo ready to ditch this thing. But on the plus side, I've been sleeping better than I have i a couple of years. No getting up 4 or 5 times a night to pee. I'll have to say it again. All my prayers these days are prayers of gratitude and thanks. |

"My favorite forum is dying, but I won't let that bother me." Not true. Like most things, it has changed over time, but I have full faith in the collective good folks here, most all of US, that we can both maintain and contribute to the goodness that IS The Badweb. |

Erik Buell's genius brought us together. We've ridden together as brothers and sisters. When I see the many folk I've come to know through the BW I count you as fandamily. Given just our daily lives, and our current world, we keep in touch with one and another HERE. I remain, and will continue to try to tickle funny bones more than aggravate them. As my Mother, especially my Father taught me. I do believe your fears are unfounded, brother Matthew. |

OK. I was typing my last post whilst Pete posted that. Pete, I'm about to reserve something at TWoS, dunno whut yet. Once I know, I'll letcha know... usually one of three rooms. A spare bed will be made for you, on me. Might even be able to cover your food... one way or another, I petition my good friends that will be attending, for you to attend, with no cost to you but time and gas money. Buellers? Had I needed to shit or pee when I saw that, I'dve had something different to say. Another win. (Message edited by 86129squids on February 13, 2021) |
