I have a new camping cot. A new Tent is on its way as is a new sleeping pad. New Tires for the Express are also coming. I have some truly wonderful friends. I have built my idea of what my motorcycle should be (with a lot of help from my friends). Like Clarence the Angel wrote to George Bailey, No man is a failure who has friends
Snoozing with the dawgies. My problem is is Mama gets up, they wanna see what she's doing... oh well, nothing, back into bed. Oooh, another noise, a plastic bag/thingy/something from the fridge????? down, up, down, up.
No snoozy for me.
Life is good. Great topic, brother. Had a day that whooped me, M's gone on a girl's day out or two, got loud music on. Gershwin tribute by Dave Grusin and co. Gonna shove the gadget on my face and sleep as best I can.
Life is hard, good, bittersweet, gorgeous, sometimes lonely, but at the level best, aaaaiiight. Love to youn's all.
1. Admit you are a sinner For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;(Romans 3 23) 2. Realize the penalty for sin For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.(Romans 6 23) 3. Believe that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again for you For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.(John 3 16) 4. Trust Christ ALONE as your saviour For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.(Ephesians 2 8-9)
Zane did not ask your opinion. Most here have worked out their salvation with fear and trembling. Just because the thread title mentions Assholes, it was not calling you. You are not doing God's work. You are being a dick. Test the spirits in the church not on the motorcycle forum.
Tpehak, I'm very comfortable with my relationship with the Almighty. I find that my prayers these days have all turned to prayers of gratitude. I'm getting stronger every day, I have excellent doctors, close family, great friends, wonderful dogs and I still get to drink the occasional beer.
I look at other people in the infusion room and I know that I have absolutely no right to complain about anything.
Life is good... and my life has been really good. I need to remind myself of that from time to time. They wife and have been doing some cleaning and I came across a few picture CD's. This one is was taken not to long after I traded the Roadking for the Uly.
I sit here laughing, as I listen to Dave Grusin and company play Gershwin's "Fascinating Rhythm" at high volume, drinking a tasty seltzer. Dave Weckl is very probably the best jazz drummer I've ever heard. Aeons ago live at a Vanderbilt concert hall with the Chick Corea Elektric Band. Changed my life, that day. Had free tickets even.
M's out at a casino having "girl's days out" with her BFF. I've always built out a pretty serious old-school component hi-fi wherever I live, it WILL operate at high volume. At this house I can shift things to my outdoor speakers, sounds better than inside. I do love me some high quality, high volume killer jams. Gotta enjoy now, before M gets back home tomorrow. She says I play things too loud. Well, she wants her meat well done. Somehow we still love each other.
The Great Commission is that if you are of God is to preach salvation through Jesus Christ. If reading a copy & past verse from the KJV Bible or hearing a sermon from the KJV Bible on what it truly says hurts your felling to where want to lash out with anger at the one that posted it and call names. There is no room in your hart for Jesus Christ. Amen

I only have one doggy, but sleeping in bed is one of his favorite things. He's probably there right now waiting for me to come home for lunch. Wish I was allowed to bring him to work!
