That stopped, instantly, when a fresh plague burst forth from the exact location, within yards, of a biological warfare lab known to be experimenting on exactly the fresh plague's type of Coronavirus. If it had been any time in the billions of years from the creation of the Solar System, other than the exact month that pressure from the successor to the CCP paid for Obama/Biden crime families was hurting Xi's minion's profits, AND Xi was facing protests against his brutal actions not just in Hong Kong, but beginning in Mainland Communist China, cities like Wuhan, then Covid-19 would easily be believed to be typical. | ||

Comments on the incredible bravery and indifference to a vaccination of the human prop/ actor required! I'm not an anti -vaxxer. Nearly the opposite end of that spectrum. Also quite Olde School Liberal/Libertarian, so feel free to rant on how you ain't gonna let yourself be forced into washing your hands after wiping your butt or handling raw bat meat. ( I won't eat with you, or shake hands, but I support your right to be silly  ) I've been on the list after nurses and hair dressers for months. I'm preparing for a quarantine period if I get sick from it, and because I don't qualify for First Wave, I may have time to choose between different vaccines. I'm watching a few factors. Severity of side effects and odds of getting an infection from the vaccine. (2 separate issues ) Method of immunity triggers. How does it tell your immune system to attack the Coronavirus, and how narrow a genetic drift it covers? This may be the first time I get a choice on the subject. Every other vaccine package I've had, from the yearly flu shot to the "nasty African & Indian & Fertile Crescent bugs vaccine for working in Bumfukistan" has been the one available after years of competition and decrees by bureaucrats. | ||

I'm all on board with washing your hands, and further, I'd really appreciate if more showered & washed the rest of their bodies. I'm also on board with masks. Make the facial recognition software work for it. And, what the heck, let's encourage anti social spacing. ( see washing above ) But ignorance & fear mongering obviously inspire the idiocy that getting vaccinated won't help reduce transmission. Sure, if a sick person sneezes on your vaccinated face, and someone not vaccinated licks your face before you can Wash it, then, yes, they can get sick. Allergies are real, and you won't know until you react to something. ( now, because of TwitFaceToc entire countries, not just a jr. High school, can have hysterical freak outs ) And don't bother pulling the sexist card for my use of "hysteria". Yes, I'm aware of the history of the word. Yes, I know it Will Offend some. Bite my shiny metal ass. I'm using it correctly, deliberately, and accurately. These early allergic reactions aren't hysteria. It's human variation. Not just expected, inevitable. Thanks to the Trump administration efforts, we'll have a choice of at least 2 vaccines of very different types. You may want one or the other, but you'll have to wait & see which. Not an option if you're a bleeding edge needer of protection like health and elderly care workers. You can't know until they both have hit the beta testing stage, where the Pfizer vaccine really is today. If you're multi allergic, you may want to wait & see a few weeks. And since production is still ramping up, unless you are a priority, waiting is both easy, and unavoidable. So chill. | ||

I have my reasons for getting immune to a disease that too many of my friends and relatives are at high risk/stakes of getting killed by. I'll get a vaccination. I get a yearly flu shot, too. ( Not going to argue numbers here, or dispute anecdotal / personal experience. People I know died. Others recovered. Condolences & congratulations to all similarly affected. ) And, I tend ( small L ) libertarian, so I support anyone's desire to temp Murphy & Darwin. Religious Freedom means you can mock the gods. I'm cynical enough to embrace voluntary eugenics. And, I'm not hypocritical enough to do stuff others think suicidal, like ride motorcycles, and tell others not to take risks. I admit I have a reputation as a safety nazi. ( Actually had the team shirt with that job Title on my college skydiving team ) See "Old, Bold, pilots" saying. I'm not even that curious about anyone's reasons to not get the flu shot, or a hypothetical, so far, Covid-SARS-21 vaccine. Some will be rational, others...? If rational, great! If not, grow up. | ||

Just a copy of a unique-ish protein on the outside of the virus. The basic premise is the same as almost all immunization, show the body a threat in a form that won't kill you, but triggers a ( appropriately paced & regulated ) production of killer/guardian cells. ( that won't kill you ) Protein coat vaccines with no actual infectious RNA ( or DNA ) that can't replicate, would be much safer, as far as getting the disease from the vaccine goes. I'm less sure what the side effects are or might be, from mRNA technologies, however. | ||
