Well, according to the link above it's open game on private land.
From the link: Hog Hunting and Shooting Regulations
On Private Land Feral hogs may be killed or trapped year-round, by a landowner or anyone with the landowner’s permission (except anyone who has had his or her hunting license revoked).
On Public Land

I've become a bit obsessed with finding out exactly what the Law / Rules are for hunting Feral Hogs on private land, so I just straight up called the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and asked them.....
They told me the info in my last post above is correct. Anyone, repeat Anyone, even out of State individuals can hunt till their hearts content with no license required. Even at night. The only two rules being; you must have the land owners permission and you can not have had your hunting license revoked.
The lady I spoke with said, "You can just kill them, at night too, they are such a problem."
Now that I'm confident of the rules, I sure wish I had the land and accommodations to invite BadWebbers down here...
Because there's no control for people-access on public land. Not that they can't control who's shooting the hogs, but because they can't control who's BEHIND the hog that's being shot at.
Not everyone on public land, would be there to hunt the hogs.
So, I've spent the afternoon swapping out the wiring harness on my BRAND NEW dishwasher. Took about a month for (a) a factory tech to show up and (b) for the harness to show up via USPS. Turns out a rodent chewed the wires. GRRR.
Easy fix, just messy. However, as I installed the new harness, I thought it'd be smart to coat the wires with a deterrent, like "Bitter Apple" for pets. Went to pet store, bought another product- "Fooey!" Billed as "Ultra-Bitter Gel". All natural, harmless, etc. Slathered the stuff on my wires, reinstall done.
So, in my eternal wisdom, I thought "Ultra-Bitter"? HOLEEY CANNOLI. It's a thin, clear gel, about invisible. Got it on my hands/fingers. I'd tasted Bitter Apple before- they make that from apple seed oils. This "Fooey!" stuff is amazingly horrible, hard to wash off, yekkk!!! Taste lingers WAAY too long to boot.
I share this information just because youn's may have puppies/critters chewwing what they shouldn't... or you might know someone who "needs" their cocktail glass rimmed.
Seriously, this stuff is fantastic for its purpose, scary for other uses.
I replaced the headliner in my Jetta today. It’s a task I’d rather not repeat. It had been removed before, by the body shop that repaired the T bone damage. They screwed up a lot of the fasteners and bracket/clips when they did so. It was a frustrating day, to say the least.
Well, I am being responsible at the shop. As far as online, it’s necessary to play through their servers. Steam started that crap and I don’t like it but I HAD to get DIII.... Sux that I can’t play when I have internet issues.
OK... I keep a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium, just took 2 of my largest fish to be "re-homed"/traded, to my local/awesomest fish store. Looking to re-establish the tank as a "community" tank, I can now stock with small fish that won't immediately become expen$ive snacks.
Just looked on Amazon- apparently one can now buy live aquarium fish via them now. Who'da thunkit?!?? Matthew, what say ye?
FWIW, here's my store, the biggest/best fresh/saltwater/pond retailer in the southeast:
Good Sunday morning, all- I've posted up about these folks a while back, Motorcycle Relief Project- they're a 501c3 dedicated to helping veterans/first responders/front line medical personnel deal with PTSD, depression, various mental troubles through organized off-road adventures. They send me emails from time to time... a few days ago they sent me another about a streaming show/event, "ShitShow 2020". I've not yet watched the video (free once you register), but I followed the links to their merch page. Lots of cool items, mostly clothing, whose purchase will help support the MRP. I'll probably be getting a "ShitShow 2020" shirt myself. Thought I'd share... any/all of their videos posted to date will move you, garonteed. A very worthy cause for charity, IMHO.
