My guess is they should have closed their borders in late August to shut off the tourist wave. They did flatten their curve for almost a year. The real news comes from Cameroon and India, where one interpretation is they don't test, and another, ( not exclusive ) is HCQ is effective. So everyone that jumped on the "Trump said HCQ is promising, so since we hate him, we ban HCQ" is guilty of mass murder. That doesn't mean they're not also mass murdering monsters who want a Great Reset to the Old Ways of Aristocratic Rule. Those seem to be seriously overlapping on the Venn diagram of Evil. Nope. That's 4-6% that the vaccine is probably ineffective for. Useless, not bad. It's not a 6% Death rate. We won't know the fatality rates for the vaccines until the Mayor of Seattle orders mass vaccination at gun point. Simply, some things are effective, others, not, and one example is anecdotal, not science. So, since the most popular response appears to be from Cuomo in His State, measuring popularity by positive reaction to press conference performance, we should test Cuomo's response for effectiveness, with a test group with varied risk factors. Congress has old fat sick and young fit healthy members, excellent tax payer funded healthcare, and an in place record keeping system. So lock them down so they can't leave, forbid visitors, fill all available empty space with sick and infectious Covid-19 victims, and see what happens. | ||

(hint: the answer is 5 posts up) They don't understand the difference between a "case", and a "positive test". Look it up. Use a medical text, not a mass-media "explanation". They don't understand the amplification process utilized in the testing process, and why there's a difference in the results you'll get with a 30x amplification, versus a 45x amplification. Look it up. Again - use a medical text. They don't understand that a 99.969% recovery rate means that FOUR people out of every ten THOUSAND people - people with the virus, not people in the public at large - may have severe effects from this virus. That 9,996 people will recover JUST FINE, with no lasting effects. That, is third-grade math. They don't understand that there are no "excess deaths" in 2020 compared to any year in the last 5+ years, nor do they understand the term "excess deaths". Look that one up, too. People are stupid, and they're content being stupid, because finding facts takes too much effort. The quote above is a prime example of that. And the Democrat Socialists are counting on that. They thrive on stupid, lazy people who don't have the inclination, nor the ability, to do anything when it comes to situations like this. They're counting on it, and that's why they've co-opted the media, and big tech, to only feed us what they want us to hear. Their goal truly is to make everyone "equal" under Socialism. They just don't advertise that the equality? Is going to be at the BOTTOM of the scale. We're all going to be stupid, fat, lazy, uneducated, unemployed, on welfare, and unable to defend ourselves. Poor, sickly, weak, and stupid - just the way they want us. But hey - equality, right? Equality for us...but not for them. The clickbait story is just like the state of Maryland. Our illustrious governor announced at his last shutdown conference (where he rolled us back to increased restrictions, just in time for the holidays), that Maryland hospitals "were nearing capacity" and we "had to stem the flow of infections before our hospitals were overwhelmed". Maryland has 8.77 million residents. At the time of his announcement, Maryland hospitals had a whopping 1,001 beds with COVID patients...and 256 of them were in ICU. Statewide. If THAT is "overwhelming" to our hospital system? We have much larger problems than a virus. There is no excuse for reporting like this in an age when anyone can check this tool in seconds and see the actual figures. Except they know that people are stupid. And lazy. And...they won't do their own research, because that's too much like work. Lazy assholes would rather be spoon-fed "information", and just go along with it. And, that's what they're counting on. Because weak (and weak-MINDED) people are easier to control. As for this: Dr David Nabarro suggested that social distancing and masks were something that would have to continue as a way of “treating this virus with respect.” Respect? For WHAT, a 0.04% chance that something bad will happen to you if you catch it?? FU(K THAT. This thing is no more dangerous than any other virus that's come along in the history of mankind.
