Just being your wife's bestie in college didn't get you a Federal contract. You had to pay up front, like everyone else. Playground bully, offering to beat you up outside. But only when that can never happen. It's a safe belligerent 'tude. Aka a coward. Trump insults the powerful and treats regular people like people. Employees? Perform or go. He even had a tv show with "tough boss" as the theme. And his fired employees in D.C. often show hatred, write "tell all" stories, which tells me maybe we are better off without them. ( they don't work for him for a reason ) Trump, like many, demands loyalty. That has to be a two way relationship to inspire and motivate. ( this isn't a Trump Thing, Or new. It's the basis for fuedalism. If your overlords don't give as well as take, why support them? ) I don't know how to rate Trump on that. He inherited the Obama administration's appointees. Many of them deserve prison, not gratitude. | ||

A Bing search shows no pictures of any crowds in Ohio. At least not in the first three pages. The 26+ minute Fox video of her speech didn't seem to ever show anyone but her. There was applause from at least 4+ people, but afaik that could all be staff. Or a huge, strangely quiet, horde of zombies, Utah Raptors, or garden gnomes. I dunno. | ||

I have to wonder...how many of these events are tanking because people have zero enthusiasm for the candidates? And how many are tanking because they have the voter base who is subscribing (hook, line, and sinker) to the horror story about COVID and still thinks it's a 14 day death sentence, so they simply aren't leaving their homes? | ||

one of those ironies that just won't be reported by CNN.... Ezekiel Emanuel, brother to Rahm, the former Mayor of Chicago/Chief of Staff to Obama/Representative, was the Architect of Obamacare, and infamous ( If you paid attention ) for advocating just letting old folks die. With Socialized Medicine, you have to ration care, there isn't infinite funding, and the system rations pay, which cuts down on staff, in a vicious circle. So, since old folk use more resources, in a nasty curve, one way to keep the system going until the inevitable crash, is to kill them. Ezekiel didn't actually call for Cuomo style covert Death Camps, or shooting the elderly, ( which is more humane than the Cuomo Final Solution ) but cutting off medical care and euthanasia was his proposal. At an arbitrary age. Much younger than Joe, who Ezekiel Endorses. So the Guru of Obamacare, if he'd had his way, would have let Joe... go. In fact, if the fairly credible rumors about Joe's drug treatment are true, Ezekiel would have preferred to give Joe an overdose of Fentanyl, instead of expensive treatments. The hypocrisy is massive. And, please, no bad jokes about making Ezekiel Joe's physician! Good ones will be mean enough. | ||

There were also rumors about “brown shirts” and “ammo purchases” being included in the famed “we have to pass it to know what’s in it” legislation. It’s tough to sort the wheat from the chaff these days. | ||

Which hyperbole do you want documentation on? Cuomo Death Homes? I don't have a text message where he cackles in glee at murdering old folk. It's a Manslaughter by depraved indifference case at best/worst. All we have is Executive orders, complaints that he denied, then change in orders after polls showed upset folk who were forbidden to see their now dead parents. Ezekiel & euthanasia? This is how I see a Biden presidency playing out. Biden squeaks by Trump to become the President. Within the first 6 months, they use the 25th amendment to remove him and install Harris. She appoints Hillary as her VP so she can lead the first all female administration. In short order Harris dies under mysterious circumstances and Hillary becomes the President. Then the universe is set right since she was cheated by the electoral college and the voters out of her God given right to be President. Please, please, please go out tomorrow and vote for Trump. | ||

Just voted in person, buggered up my mail in ballot. No line, had the choice of a paper ballot or digitally with a printout at the end. Got the best “I Voted” sticker, put it on my Yeti tumbler (coffee cup). Now to see how it all unfolds...  | ||

Voted in person in Chino Valley AZ. Long lines. Took just shy of an hour to vote. Most of us were not wearing masks including those of us well past 60. What social distancing? There were over a hundred people in a room the size of a school gym and I only saw one person who looked uncomfortable and that was a fat kid who appeared to be 18 or 20 years old. One of the poll workers, not wearing a mask, asked if anyone wanted to vote by touch screen rather than paper ballot, there were no takers. He then said, "I don't them either." If I had to guess I would say the odds were at least 10 to 1 in favor of Trump. G | ||

Our polling place handed out individual conductive syluses (stylii?) so nobody had to touch anything except their "voter smart card" which is encoded with your ID information. I kept mine, because hey - free stylus.  | ||
