It's great to see her growing so well! How are her manners coming along?
My little rescue girl is just crazy. She's a little off for sure, but I love her. She's been here five months now, and over all she's doing okay, but when she gets excited and hyper, watch out! At least I got her back up to weight.

Well she is finally 99% housebroken (she still gets very excited and will pee on your shoe if she hasn't seen you all day)
She still has puppy teeth, which she incessantly uses to grind up everything from pine cones to table legs.
She gets along with Addi quite well, although the 8 year age difference shows itself after playing for a while. The little one can go hard for hours, while Addi will go for about 20-30 minutes and then she gets a little grumpy and has to put Junior in her place.

She's a puppy alright! And puppies Chew! And chew and chew lol!
Awesome she is house trained, minus a little excitement pee. That is a huge accomplishment. Some dogs do really well, some seem to take forever. Hennesey will get so wound up playing outside she won't go pee until she calms down and I walk around the yard with her.
It's so good Addi has accepted her and they are getting along! Really happy to read that. It's pure anguish when two dogs won't play nice.
You've got yourself two winners! Good furkids bring a lot of joy and love into our lives, I'm happy for you and Gretchen!
Om a serious note, are you training her on having her teeth brushed? All of my dogs except one are rescues... you've got a great opportunity with a brand-new pup to build best behaviors. Agility training/lure coursing highly recommended.
"Beyond that, she's an equal member of the household."
Some are more equal than others... I'm eating pizza and the B insists I give him some. Been on that prednisone all year, now fat/hungry/stubborn. Gotta ration the love now.
Voice command off leash is the goal. Train her against all tempting stimuli.

Awwww. So cute.
My friends used to ask me why I had scratches on my arms and face. I would tell from playing with the dogs. At first they didn't believe me, but after a while they did. Now, most of the time they don't even say anything lol!
Try a pet raccoon! They will climb up your leg and your back so they can lay on your shoulders! I had a trail of "needle" marks leading to my shoulders!
