Ducbsa, The Obamas didn't donate a penny to Just Joe, because they are rich greedy a-holes. I'm certain any penny they donate is carefully considered, both as to the image it creates of them, and the kickback that must never be mentioned.
If they give a dime of their laundered money, ( to be fair, at least Michelle delivered a book, unlike Barry ) You can be sure they get good value.
Rich people don't waste money. That's one way they get rich. The ones who do, tend to not stay rich, unless their creations generate more wealth than they can spend.
Compare a sports star with their temporary high pay, who buy limousine Hummers and go broke soon after their careers end, & the owner of a chain of nursing homes, who has a nice house in the country, with walls and gate, drives a Caddy SUV, but isn't flashy about his wealth that grows eternally. ( yes, the second guy is real, and there are many like him )
And then the Obamas... The 65 million advance on a book & 50 million to front Netflix are often mentioned, but never, ever, the hundreds of millions laundered by his campaign corporation. Much like the Clintons who don't pay for their daughter's wedding with their own wealth, but with their "charity" money laundering corporation, these people don't Donate. They Receive.
Trump is full o crap. He always has been, but in this case he's also wrong... Partly.
The Post Office is both capable of delivering your mail in vote in a timely manner and doing so more without cheating than Donald says.
And the Dems have used mail in ballots to commit fraud. And plan/want/will do so again this year, more and more criminal than ever. Since they've utterly abandoned all but pretense that they care about violating the law, your rights, or your life. ( opinion )
There, The Bad Orange Man is right on the money.
The reason mail in voting is a Bad Thing is multi-faceted.
There's the ballot harvesting ( see California ) where Democrat Party minions go door to door, "help" elderly and ignorant to fill out the forms, and collect them to be submitted... Often changed from the intent of their victims. It's sold as making sure everyone gets a chance to vote. But is fraud in practice.
The laws passed in Mail in voting often have unrealistic time constraints. It can take 5 or more days to deliver the votes, once put in a mailbox in front of your house. ( more likely just 2, but 7 is possible ) So unless you fill out the form and drop it off at a Post Office a week before the election, it's going to delay the count for... Weeks.
Our systems are set up to count votes from polling places and only in the State chosen machine format. ( different from State to State ) They don't have the people or procedures to deal with a high percentage/number of paper mail in votes.
What has amazed me all along is the group(s) that can think of 57 different esoteric potential means to get infected with COVID that have to be prevented, can't envision a SINGLE way there could be voter fraud with mail in balloting.
In every facility I go to, every floor supervisor or manager tells me that first class mail volumes are down about 30% since March. There is plenty of capacity to handle the ballots.
The problem is falsified ballot entries. Dead people voting. People voting multiple times. Illegals voting. Infirm people being "interviewed" by "ballot technicians", and the voter's choice being replaced by the technicians choice before the ballot is submitted (a.k.a. "harvesting").
The Left is trying to turn that (very real) problem, into a (very fake) problem, to try and turn the whole "vote by mail" issue into yet another "Orange Man Bad" crisis/lie.
My contacts within the Post Office are very unhappy with the new regime. No Overtime with zero reductions in workload. It doesn't matter that it may be needed to keep the business open, it hurts them now.
That sounds short sighted and selfish, but you must understand that the postal workers have watched for years the work load per actual worker increase while being told, constantly, that it's needed to save their jobs. And every new Postmaster has read the same script, and been disliked. ( the one who retired in the early Clinton years got multi-million bonuses. And his Replacement was less competent and also disliked )
That's why I say Trump is full Of it, re:USPS. He's trolling, and wrong. Mostly.
OTOH, he understates the fraud being done. Not by the Post Office, by the Democratic Socialist Party.
I don't know... from what I've observed having hauled bulk mail for a number of years, when you arrive at the post office you can expect to wait unnecessarily long periods of time. Tons of people just milling around, doing jack shit.
Once in a while, you find that one helpful person. When that person goes away, it all goes to shit. Again.
BMC's in Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Los Angeles, Carson, San Luis Obispo, San Francisco, Bakersfield, Fresno. In Georgia, I've seen it at the four main processing centers around Atlanta ESPECIALLY the Crown Road facility.
It's literally SO bad, that our clients have hired us to pre-sort their mail for them BEFORE taking it to the USPS in hopes that it would move a little bit faster.
There is literally NO reason I can think of that I should have to sort all this mail myself with NO machines. And yet, I've done it dozens of times just like this.
This mail all has First Class postage pre-printed on it.
The US Mail is nigh unto useless. I can't remember the last time I got a piece of mail that I actually needed.
Pwnzor, it's not the USPS's fault you don't correspond with great people so your mail is a joy to look forward to.
I admit I don't either, but my bills and magazines, American Rifleman, Cooks Country, etc. are looked forward to. Plus all the internet mail order packages. ( Amazon, UPS, and Federal Excess all use The USPS to deliver where they don't wanna bother, either because volume is low, or they don't have the capability )
Remember, the Post Office must, by law, deliver everyone's mail. Everywhere. It gets a bit slow in "they never put a road through these mountains" rural Montana, where some contractor flies sacks into short grass strips and The local store has P. O. Boxes that are more virtual than brass.
But unlike UPS, that screwed both customers and workers by just not bothering to deliver outside high profit zones ( after promising full time employment to temps only if volume justified then deliberately reducing volume, ( and handing parcels off to USPS ) so customers in rural America could just suffer, ) The Post Office isn't allowed to make a profit, set rates, not deliver where it's unprofitable, or refuse truck loads of political propaganda at discounted prices from Congress.
I sure don't claim The Post Office is perfect. I could write a book. No one would buy it, not enough sex.
The local office, just 2 years ago, ( the last time I have real numbers ) delivered 94% of first class mail locally, the next day, & the rest in 3.
Yeah, D.C. & several big Blue Cities have lousy time on their deliveries, and that's partly the local Postmaster & partly that mail is curtailed where the Carrier can't count on escaping alive to go home for the day. I worked the worst 'hoods in town when I started, & for years. But even Rochester, a Blue City, is relatively paradise vs. Baltimore.
Why on earth would I want to have a bunch of glossy paper stacking up around my house?
I collect books, they go on shelves. I mostly get them for free these days, as libraries are being shut down everywhere. We go in and clean them out and I get to take my pick from every imaginable subject.
Bills? They come to my phone/computer. If I lived in an area with poor delivery options, I really don't think I'd mind driving to the local Walmart or other lockbox location to pick up packages.
We've been installing Amazon cabinets all over the southeast. They're really very convenient and often you can get your package the same day rather than waiting for it.
Marxism is a hideous monster with a beautiful skin. It produces very consistent results by very consistent methods. If you read the books on twentieth century history that the best and brightest haven’t managed to burn yet, you will find that this has all been done before; it isn’t new, it is not as it appears, and it will end not in utopia but oceans of misery and mountains of corpses. The gaffes of one senile old man are funny but the fanaticism of a million social justice warriors isn’t. We’ve seen red guards before.
Don't know or care about the guy. I also think it's ridiculous to demand anyone condemn another person, just because that person endorsed you. But that's THEIR rules, so...
The GOP does need to take off the gloves. I hope this is the start - we need to get down in the weeds with the enemy, and FIGHT.
It's a shame you can't find the RNC on any channels, though. Not surprising...but still sucks. CSPAN is about the only place you can get it uniterrupted...lord knows NONE of the networks will carry it!! God forbid the message would get out to the voting public!!
