And got soaked In the Thunderstorm yesterday.  So glad I Plexus my face shield. In New York they "gave us" a holiday from Inspections etc. I'm waiting on plates myself, by mail, since in person stuff is by appointment, in a month, because...Covid. As long as you can pull out a current insurance card, and the paperwork has been submitted, carry a copy of your forms submitted, with "copy" across them, slap on a temporary paper plate, with something like "Covid-19 Delayed Plate", and drive. If you get a ticket, blame the Governor.  Or me. It's probably bad advice. I'm just waiting, patiently, but I've got options. | ||

I fully realize this sounds callous. The 2 weeks are Over. We flattened the curve, and saved the Hospitals from massive overload. We flattened the curve and extended the time of greatest danger, for extra months. We also had some politicians take advantage of the Wuhan Super Cold to campaign. Trump & Cuomo especially. The Bad Orange Man had to show up on tv, or he'd be blamed for not caring, so why not campaign? The Evil Overlord of the Imperial State didn't have to, so his was pure exploitation. But the Governors that are now obviously evil, kept moving the goal posts. 2 weeks. A month. Until the numbers improve. Until there's a vaccine. Until no one dies, ever. Until after I get reelected... And while many complain that the mask and distancing business is a trial run/conditioning exercise for sheep to bow to tyranny, ( and in many cases, that's true ) what actually happened is a push back against petty bull. Unfortunately we may still want to keep delaying the end of Covid-19 by maintaining some Rational distancing and cleaning standards. There's lot of old folk who weren't murdered by Democrats, yet. So I dislike the reactionary mask and distancing hate. I can't say I'd rather those people ( who I do understand ) to lynch their tyrants than yell about freedoms stolen, but I'm getting tired of the useless noise. Not that you shouldn't call out tyranny. You just need to look smart doing it, and Tyrants are all about telling lies, so if you complain about them, you must be a crank who doesn't believe Covid exists! And that lie is easy to sell if you're also yelling masks don't work. | ||

We also need to continue to wear masks because if we don't... "The hospitals will be overrun with flu patients". What do they have planned to control the people next? You won’t see this reported in the media nationally. It is too much good news. If almost half a million people can gather for an event that spans 10 days with this outcome, it puts their COVID-19 panic porn to rest. The case for mail-in voting would die. We could conduct a safe and secure election as usual. People could go back to work and school without screening tests or masks. And college football would be a go nationwide. Of course, we still need to protect the vulnerable from COVID-19. The latest from the CDC demonstrates that those who are over the age of 65, obese, have diabetes, or other pre-existing conditions need to be cautious. Those who live with these individuals need to protect them by following the CDC guidelines. I'm skeptical on the coverage from that source. I didn't see Italy on those charts, possibly because it would throw off the data & not prove the intended point. ? But just going on Party Performance re: caring about human life, after the attempted mass assassination of Republican Congresscritters, the drone strikes on civilians ( during the Barry regime ), the legal definition of abortion/human rights as independent from being in the womb, or age, ( and this is a bit vague ) or marital status, and lately the declaration that murdered protesters were asking for it, Does tend to be evidence that the Party would much rather you die than admit Donald isn't Satan. So you see my dilemma. The anti-malarial drug might be a great thing. Certainly evil people say it's not. But the problem with liars is they just aren't consistent. You can't count on assuming the truthiness of their bull. | ||
