You jest, but it's probable that genetically engineered diseases WILL be targeted at specific ethnic groups. And fairly soon. See note 1. ( The novel Kill Ratio, 1987, by Janet Morris & David Drake, had such a bioweapon ) It's highly unlikely that America would develop and use such a weapon. We are the wretched refuse, the melting pot. Thus a germ that targeted, for example, Slavic genotypes would kill plenty of Americans, ditto with every other ethnic group targeted. But China is relatively homogenous, and the leaders are pretty racist against the populations on the fringe of the Middle Kingdom, like the Uyghurs, as well as divisions internal to China that most foreigners aren't aware of. And that's other Chinese. A bioweapon targeting Caucasians or Africans would be nigh ideal to destroy opposition to world domination, as well as opening up land for colonization by the overcrowded Chinese with their massive sex ratio problem. Sure, you'd have to be incredibly evil and callous about mass murder to create and use such a weapon, but incredibly evil and callous mass murderers basically defines Communist Party Leadership. Note 1. It's still unclear if Covid-19 is genetically targeted. Thus 2019 May be as historically significant as 1945, the year fission bombs were first used in war. | ||

This was interesting to me; Early on people would say it is like the flu. Then others would act like they were heretics and proclaim the holy truth to any that would listen about the apocalypse that was coming. I still say it is like the flu. I've said all along this whole thing is a crock of shit. Now even more. PA has reinstated its "wear a mask anytime you're in public" requirement. Just-Joe Biden is saying he'll federally mandate mask use for the entire country if he's elected. Even President Trump is pushing mask use now...but NOBODY is talking about what's in that article - even as case counts skyrocket, the mortality rate continues to decline. God forbid we hear any GOOD news. | ||

Actually if you READ the article, the cases are weaker now than they have been. Which is why we are seeing a spike in case count, but still a decline in fatalities. | ||

I prefer to live in this place called Reality. You can't engineer a time-delay fuse for a virus. Reality is, this thing is getting weaker - it is returning to its roots, to its natural state, before it was (or wasn't) theoretically artificially-enhanced by the Chinese. Fact is, fewer people are dying from this thing than ever before, and more than one source has stated "it is weaker than a common flu at this point". But, continue to drink the kool-aid if you want. | ||

But...but... My Mom watches CNN religiously. ( nun levels of suspension of disbelief ) and she says Texas is dying!!!! The lousy Governor is killing people left & right, unlike the honorable and kind New York Governor. ( we somewhat disagree on the morals of Grandma Killer Cuomo ) We also disagree on the respect given CNN. I take them pretty seriously. If they say X, X is not so. Pretty reliably dishonest, imho. She disagrees. So... Texans. Dying in droves, right? | ||
