Yup. Comments section is good, too. Would probably have avoided all these riots and looting, too - Floyd would not have been laid off, more people would be at work, and less inclined to go "shopping" as a form of protesting. Funny how convenient it is, that the sheep are all unemployed, broke, and scared...and that the "leaders" are all encouraging riots, defunding the police, staging pallets of bricks on random streetcorners downtown....all while "bail reform" means these criminals spend one night in jail then go scot-free, to do it again. The main problem is there is no list of requests except for nebulous things like "end systemic racism" and insane things like "abolish the police". If they'd throw out some reasonable ideas maybe things could be improved. | ||

Or...if they'd look at actual FACTS (a sum total of NINE unarmed blacks were killed by cops in 2019; 86% of blacks who die by crime, are killed by other blacks; blacks make up something like 13% of our overall population yet they commit more than 50% of the crimes)...they'd see the system actually works pretty damned well as it is. As Candace Owens says in her video - which I posted in another thread here - blacks need to stop idolizing criminals. George Floyd was no saint - he was a repeat, violent offender who was high on meth and fentinyl when he passed counterfeit money, and attacked a cop who tried to arrest him. Was the cop out of line? Yes. But, so was George Floyd. Repeatedly throughout his lifetime. Statisticians call that a "trend". One of the best quotes from Candace from that video: "you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes". Attack the cops while you're high on meth, and they probably aren't going to offer you a soda, or a comfy chair to relax on, while you sit and chat. And...they WON'T send everyone back to work, because then they lose control. People working for themselves are empowered. People taking handouts (welfare, unemployment, "stimulus" checks) are weak, scared, and dangerous - and unstable. And, at the mercy of those giving the handouts. Which is right where the Dems want us as a nation. Scared, and groveling. "Please, sir, may I have another?" | ||

This week's updated CCP Virus death toll chart, now including Arizona, since the media is now sensationalizing an uptick in new cases there. They are so dishonest, or maybe just REALLY stupid. I don't know which is worse for a national "news" network. Note the step down, then the step back up in the EEA (EU + UK, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway) dataset. On one day that ECDC dataset shows roughly -1,500 new deaths, then a big step back up a week later. People are tampering with the data or doing a REALLY poor job of documenting the CV deaths. The EEA data of late appears very positive, plunging towards zero, while the USA dataset shows a much more gradual decline. It's interesting to note that at the very same time (April 14th) that our CDC changed the criteria for what constitutes a CV death, the ECDC did exactly the same. To what effect, we don't yet know, may never know, other than it broadens the criteria and so tends to elevate the death count going forward; how much is the question. Is it another ploy similar to the Climategate fraud to "hide the decline"? Not so much. If anything, it would prolong the decline. Doesn't seem to have had that effect for the EEA.  The "USA-NY" plot shows what the USA dataset would look like absent NY, it's literally the USA minus NY state. You can see that around day 26, NY state accounted for roughly a third (2/6 or 33%) of the entire national death toll while constituting just 6% of the total population (20M/330M). | ||

He was too busy giving campaign speeches ( plague updates daily ) and being interviewed by his brother, who infected his own family & broke quarantine and lied. So his utter ignorance of the consequences of his actions is justifiable. You just have to believe he's incompetent, yet qualified. Slavery is freedom. War is peace. And be really stupid. Mayor, "My News business is no longer News, but my Campaign staff" Rich guy gets a special mention by cutting mass transit trips, concentrating his subjects into more crowded conditions, and for weeks, not cleaning the cars, at all. In an alternate universe where Andy and Mike suicide off the Empire State Building, New York might be as safe as Arizona. In another where the Nazis conquered the planet, New York might treat Jews better. ( and that LA, run by Japan, would have no homeless problem, and further, Japan's rule over China wouldn't have produced Covid-19...)
