They have their own connector, with jumper pigtails you can get for alligator clips, etc. I have a Noco that I use as a deep-cycle battery tender (it will resurrect as well as maintain). It came with gator clips, and ring terminals. Wires are black, and red. I lopped the ring terminals off, and wired up a standard battery tender plug - keeping the Noco plug and pigtail setup so I can still use the gator clips, or have multiple pigtails on multiple vehicles, if I want. It's actually a nicely-done connector, I didn't want to hack it off, I preferred to keep it and use it. | ||

So, I've been noticing a trend in the "news" lately - they're not talking about body counts anymore. At all. Used to be, any broadcast was chock full of "XXX people died today", or "XYZ people were killed by the virus today". Now? Not so much. It's all about the fear, and the lockdowns, and the people "rebelling" against the lockdowns and how re-opening is going to "kill people". I was curious as to why we hadn't been hearing about all those bodies in the news anymore, so I went to the Hopkins COVID tracker website (https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html), which I have linked to here, before. AH. Now I understand...while there are more bodies, it certainly isn't that "exponential growth" that was being touted. It certainly hasn't lived up to the hype...and dammit, it's time to open back up. This crap economy, the unemployment, the food shortages, and the potential for crime, are going to kill people just like the virus did if we don't get things rolling again. From my post here on April 28, using numbers from the above-linked Hopkins tracker for global cases: On the right, you can click the "recovered" tab under the column that shows deaths, and see for yourself. 906,898 recovered; 212,345 died. From the same website, today (May 13): 1,502,620 recovered; 292,316 dead (globally) Hmm. Still holding strong to that 5:1 survival ratio, that NOBODY has talked about. Actually better than that, if you do tighter math - the "recovered" number is up nearly 1.7 times where it was on 4/28; dead are up a smaller ratio, 1.4 times the 4/28 number. And the body pile is definitely not living up to that "exponential growth" model that everyone was so afraid of... Let's go folks. Let's grow a pair, and open shit back up. Time for Big Gummint to stand the hell back, get their fingers out of the pot, and let people go about their lives. $3 trillion stimulus? NOT NEEDED. We don't need to do that to our kids, we don't need to do that to our nation. OPEN THE DOORS. Government has to do one thing, and one thing only - STEP. BACK. Allow people to go about their daily lives. Don't mandate a goddamned thing, just get out of the way. Will cases spike at first? Yes, it's a virus, they do that. Will that spike crash our medical establishment? Nope. The first round didn't, why should this one? Have we learned from the first round? I would hope so...masks are prevalent, people understand "distancing" now, people who are high-risk can certainly stay home if they choose...but people who are not high risk, or people who choose to go about their daily lives with proper common-sense (I know...) precautions....should be ALLOWED TO DO SO. I wonder if eventually, all these deaths pinned on Wu Flu when it wasn't the real cause will be culled from the total? Maybe during Trump's second term or even October. The actual usefulness of the ventilators would be interesting to know, too. Cuomo crying wolf about needing 40k of them needs to be put where the sun don't shine. | ||

They'll never be culled - that would expose the narrative for what it is. Politics, not science. Ventilators, from what I've seen and read, simply extended the time in hospital for folks who were going to die anyway. I don't recall reading anywhere, where a ventilator saved patients - once you got to that point, unless I missed something somewhere, you were far enough gone that it was simply "keep them comfortable". | ||

I'm wearing my fencing mask to Aldis today. ( paper mask inside ) Fencing is proper distancing. They get within 6 feet, you stab them! The European memes are picking on American protesters. Some of that is justified, some people are morons. I suspect they don't get that there isn't a uniform response to well, Anything, in the U.S. And their news doesn't report the crazed Governors that demand obedience to whims. And certainly don't report that some are demanding arrests for crimes that only exist in their subconscious. Michigan, eh? It's pretty definite now, that it makes almost a 100% difference in death rates, depending upon the Party in power in your state. I assumed that was an artifact of a list of factors. Population density, big cities, coastal areas, airline traffic, etc. But the same difference isn't there for flu, so it's political, not epidemiological. And in New York State, the Governor's orders on nursing homes is eugenics by concentration camp. Looked at utterly without morality, it's a way to improve the tax revenues, and decrease unwanted R voters. | ||

I am in NY....we are being held hostage so he can erase his 8 BILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT via the Federal Government. He now says due to COVID-19, the number is now $15 BILLION, and is projecting $66 BILLION by 2024. Who's paying for all of this?
