I think it's the part where An NSC spokesman said that the administration “remains committed to global health, global health security and biodefense, and will continue to address these issues with the same resolve under the new structure.” Instead, Trump's administration stated the virus was a democratic hoax, the virus was contained, and that vaccines would be available soon. Then they fell behind other first world nations providing tests in a timely matter causing widespread toilet paper shortages nationwide. | ||

I'd like to see you provide a video of the President stating the virus is a Democrat hoax. Here's a hint... It doesn't exist. Trump did stop entry from hot spot countries very early on. That was probably the biggest reason that the US is on the loweer end of the scale of infections. Democrats called it racist. I'm not sure exactly what was done with the re-org at the CDC, but I'm pretty sure that they are still supposed to be in charge of disease control. The fact that an Obama appointee was but-hurt and quit, probably says more about that person than it does anything else. Re-orgs happen. Those who are dedicated to what they are doing, wont let something like that stop them. Bottom line is that the CDC dropped the ball on this. I really doubt Trump was micro-managing the CDC to where they can't test for a virus. I've certainly heard nothing credible to that effect either. The idea that other developed countries were on top of this is absurd. There's a couple of examples of handling it well, but most have failed the test just as bad as the US. Many worse by ignoring the threat of travel from infected areas. I will say that I'm not a fan of Trump trying to convey the message that all is under control, when it clearly isn't to those paying attention. It's a difficult position to be in though. You don't want to instill panic across the nation. Again though, he's in pretty good company on this with leaders around the world. I have to admit, I wouldn't want to be the one trying to figure out the right messaging on a crisis like this. China OTOH, simply has blood on their hands. They initially hid what was going on, and kept lying as it spread around the world. I think it's pretty clear that they continue to lie as they claim to have it contained. Their official number of infected has very suddenly virtually stopped changing. It' doesn't make sense at all. Had China been up front about the outbreak from the start, the world would be months closer to having a vaccine developed and could have done a much better job slowing it's travel around the world. But sure, if it makes you feel better, it's all Trump's fault. He probably planted the virus in China himself. | ||

Then she miscalculated by over a month, and should have held the Articles longer to exploit the Coronavirus panic propaganda. Serious question. The President doesn't really have the power to ban all human contact. His power is limited by the Constitution. ( No need to dwell on Barry's violations, except the Immigration ones ) Governors have more power to ban human contact. Less restrictions on emergency power. How willing are you to give up your livelihood & convenience at government order? How willing out of concern for others? How willing are you to righteously resist stupid, or cruel? I was told while digestive distress is often associated with the flu, people are afraid of being quarrantined in their houses for 2 weeks. I had two midterms on Thursday so I felt like celebrating afterwards rather than stockpiling. But it was a mistake!! OMG the tp was all gone. I got corned beef and cabbage instead and snack food. Trump's response to this crisis is being lied about for partisan politics. Don't buy the lies. Trump's response also isn't enough. Nobody in history has slammed the gates on a plague in time, to STOP one. He's no different. The Bad Orange Man or Barry the Weasel or the President/Governor/Mayor of anywhere... Tell you not to panic, keep the economy going, and don't spread the little demons too fast. Then they turn it over to the witch doctor/CDC/high priest, who tells you to not sneeze little demons about, worship Satan, or attend the weekend game/orgy/festivals, lest ye be damned! The details and wording vary but the message is always the same. Also, the Democrats/counterrevolutionaries/Loyal Opposition/subversives ALWAYS complain the prez, king, etc. Is a fool, lying/bribed to keep business going, and therefore should be replaced ( usually by executioner ) by Them! Who are wiser, kinder, and care more. So If you value Truth & sanity, be skeptical of the spin from both and watch the doctors. It seems like social distancing and quarantine is most useful to slow the unstoppable to "flatten the curve" to keep this from overloading the system. | ||

leaders always spin the disaster to reduce panic and keep things running Which is normally a good thing. Competent leaders can speak out of both sides of their mouths so that they aren't caught off guard as situations develop. Even when no one knows what's going to happen, you show you can lead everyone whichever way it breaks. That requires balance though, and balance Trump is not.
