The last of the power drummers of the 60's and 70's.Keith Moon,John Bonham,Mitch Mitchell and now Ginger.Those four are why I started playing drums in '69.RIP!

Here's a great piece- at the end it has a vid of him playing with Charlie Haden and Bill Frisell. I got to see Frisell live many moons ago, talk about a great guitar player.
I'm listening to some Cream from their 2006 reunion concert. In an interview with Clapton he said that concert was the best they ever sounded. RIP Ginger and Jack!
My wife bought me this CD years ago from one of his later projects. At first, I thought “well that’s fairly lame drumming by such a renowned drummer” (boom-chick, boom-chick....), then I started paying attention to all the stuff going on as the song proceeds. Cool stuff!
BTW- If you haven’t seen “Beware of Mr. Baker”, find it and watch. It’s been on Netflix a few times.
