It's a beautiful morning @Summit Point Motorsports Park, here to ride the new Royal Enfield 650 twins, the Interceptor and the GT, around the Shenandoah Course. These are seriously nice bikes to ride. Fairly lightweight, good torque, 6 speed gearbox, good riding position. I'll post some pics later... |

1970 new but very scarce 750cc
Back then $1400 was alot of money $ 200 more than a BSA or Triumph. |

back in 1969/70 I fell in love with the Mark 2 Interceptor, but there was no way I could come up with the money to get one. I still think they're one of the most beautiful bikes ever made. |

These new twins are very reasonably priced at $5700 for the Interceptor and $6000 for the GT |
