I left there years ago. I used to think it'd be neat to read other people's minds. Faceplant will show you in quick order, you do not want to. Old fashioned social interaction is more the way to go. If not then, there's BadWeB. | ||

Facebook is what you make of it. Yea there is plenty of trash on it, just scroll past. FB does use algorithms and will show you more of what you interact with, so stick to the good stuff. Lately it has been showing me all kinds of vintage motorsports videos and Avengers memes. I don't get much in terms of politics or flame wars or the other crap people complain about it. | ||

Just remember...Farcebook is free, because YOU are the product. I exist perfectly well without it. It was ok when I was laid up in a hospital bed for four months back in '08...but once I got back in the real world? I got back to the real world. | ||

Here and alive......... Been going through some shit lately. Mom moved in with us back in December and I'm trying to get things together to build an addition onto my house. The last 8 months have been......... interesting. My Dad passed away last year and we had to get their house ready to put on the market. You'd be surprised on how much stuff you can accumulate in 40 years of living in the same house. Most of the stuff came here so I've been pretty much living like I'm in an episode of hoarders. lol Trying to systematically go through everything has been challenging. I'm starting to get back into the swing of things............ no worries.  | ||
