My Cummins pickup needs a clutch (grr). 2001 Ram, 24V HO diesel with 6 speed manual. I want to get a single-mass flywheel conversion kit (new flywheel). Valeo has a good rep. I don't need as radical as a South Bend, or a dual-disc setup, or any of that stuff...just good, strong, reliable, streetable. Anyone work in/with a good parts house and able to get hold of such a kit? I'm shopping locally without much success at the moment... |

Google has become your friend. Just enter 2001 dodge ram diesel clutch and flywheel. There are so many to choose from it I'd crazy! |

partsgeek.com and rockauto.com spring to mind. I've used both. |

Yep, I'm still old (fashioned?) - nice to get personal experience/input beyond just a search engine... |

Yeah. I know the feeling. I usually buy local from O'Reilly. Their prices usually work out to web cost plus shipping. Real good about warranty. But some times the interweb has what they don't or can blow out a price. So often customers beat me over the head with web pricing. I let them buy their own. |
