My arm has officially been twisted. Looks like I'm being forced by fate to make it to the mile.....and the accompanying events, hopefully to include eating!
Looks like I can make up for missing Glitchbadness.
I just saw on another thread that Foggy is coming to the Mile!!!! Awesome. We are going to get to see so many of our Buell friends!! It’s just over a month away!! Exciting stuff! (Carol)
It's 496 miles to Springfield, I've got a 3.3 gallon peanut tank and half a pack of 8 year old cigarettes. My seat hurts my a$$ after an hour, it's dark and my face shield is tinted.
I should have everything we will need. I do things the easy way. Anything I am planning to cook will be prepped ahead of time, so it will be easy to throw into the oven. I will have a couple of air mattresses, a spare queen size bed and a camper with a queen in it. People may have to fight who has to sleep on the couches or the floor!!!
I'll bring provisions, nomnoms, and whiskey, bourbon, heck, the market blurs those lines. Maybe some Japanese whiskey.
Here ya go... saw him a couple of weeks ago. Looks like he has the harp player under contract until he dies... (one or the other). The harmonica is so simple, but so complex.
To clarify my previous statement about the harmonica- I've heard SO many songs with it played THAT particular way, I'm guessing this guy is the most employed musician in Nashville. Even Chris Stapleton used him in sessions, among others.
Just a guess. I know several great "harp" players, maybe I should try. Had asthma as a kid, but I have an ear.
Sure. Camper bed is yours Pnzor. We will have our tramper here With an air mattress bed in it as well. A twin bed in a spare bedroom (Ourdee May need this for his cpap) and another queen bed in another spare room. Then we have a nice new couch and a comfy recliner. And I may wrestle up another blow up for the floor. I think we can make everyone somewhat comfortable. We will make it all work! We can built a campground fire Friday evening in the fire pit for after we go eat and I am planning a great Saturday morning breakfast. Gonna have stuff for lunch Saturday (lasagna) too if people want to grab a bite before they head to Springfield.
