Dang, I thought that was Denise's dad in the photo. Thanks for those great memories.
Here is another one from post-Thunderdome era in Wofford Heights. A few years ago, Glen, Steve, me, and ringleader Sparky invaded Harrys Bar down the road from Thunderdome and blared Surf music on the jukebox. The rednecks and cowboys were not amused and we barely escaped town on our Buells.

Laurie and I are soon to be Prescottians.
I am not one (I'm a close neighbor) but just for the record they call themselves Prescottonians.
You picked a great area to relocate to.

Just seeing this now.... that place looks amazing.
I am making plans (in pencil for now) for a 6000 mile road trip in 2020 that will bring me through your general area on the return leg.
If this comes together, you can expect a Spyder in your driveway for an overnighter.
Congratulations! I am more than a little jealous. |

My current plan (possibly just a dream)was to retire in 2020 and move to Prescott or a surrounding town but now I'm sure this posting has driven real estate prices out of my range. I don't want to be stuck in California for my golden years. |

There are some really, really nice houses to be had in the $550K range in Prescott. We did not look below that but I think there are some good ones in the $400K range. Maybe even $350K. For a Coastal Californio, that is almost free. |
