I disagree. She deserves ridicule, sure. But perhaps a thread inclusive to the other 20 odd? Vocal politicians who are either ignorant fools, evil liars, or some combination. I admit she is enthusiastically stupid. But that's not deserving any respect. I don't want a Balkanization of attention. Does Fauxahontas deserve her own thread? Honeymoon in Moscow Bernie? How many different threads must I visit to catch all the insulting memes?! And I think the Democrat terrorism thread has been diluted, and I'm guilty here, from the true evil acts to include clumsy and incompetent Sandy. Until some reporter gets some testosterone and flat out asks her how she plans to take our motorcycles, and will the Greenstapo be authorized to murder citizens who resist giving up their Vegas 8 ball, she doesn't get full terrorist status, like Spartacus? Steve, yep, you got me on a typo. I was running on empty after dealing with a sick pup in the middle of the night. Good to see you are reading this stuff though. Any thoughts on AOC? No? Did't think so. I wish her issues were as simple as a typo. Seriously, her stupidity is astounding. Or she is just a habitual liar that continues to make crap up from thin air, hoping you to be as stupid as she appears to be. I would value your opinion on what you think though. The sad thing about her is not that she is either that stupid or that she is a habitual liar. It's that so many on the left are accepting of what she says. The sad thing is that her supporters must either be that stupid, or accepting of that sort of dishonesty. Any thoughts? No? Didn't think so. | ||

Steve, to be completely honest, I really tend to be on the side that she isn't as stupid as she sounds. More along the lines of being a habitual liar, who depends on supporters who ARE that stupid. Unfortunately, that would also put her in the realm of some really evil leaders in the history of the world. Even though I'm quite convinced you will not engage in dialog, I do have some level of hope that you, perhaps someone else like you, might consider the possibilities. In the private sector, I've often heard it said that people rise to their level of incompetence. Sadly, in the public sector, as an elected official, people rise to the level of ignorance of the electorate. | ||

I take it a step further where AOC is concerned. She is a puppet. Period. Cannon fodder. SOMEone put her in place. SOMEone pushed her to the forefront, and got her elected. And I think THAT is why she projects stupidity - a), she IS, and b), she just doesn't understand what she's supposed to be doing just yet. They didn't tell her that part of the equation... It's the who-put-her-up-for-it, and the why, that makes me nervous. If she were smart enough, she'd be scared for her life. Once she serves her purpose...whatever that is...she'll be erased. Either literally, or culturally, or both. | ||

I don't doubt for a second that she has been put up as a puppet. That's a given in both of my possibilities. She simply doesn't have the ability to manage something as complex as a political campaign. It was all done for her. Even an idiot in that position knows it was done for them. That makes here no less evil, or stupid however. I don't think the intent is cannon fodder, but it may work out that way for her. I think there is a long game planned for her. See BO for the example of what I'm talking about. I doubt her puppeteers anticipated her tendencies to speak so much obvious trash to the cameras though. Her handlers must really cringe every time she speaks her mind. BO was far more easily managed. | ||

My personal opinion: She was put in place as a pawn. Now that she is in place, has a bigger paycheck than she ever expected to earn, and has some "power"... She's going off the rails with her crazy ideas she learned from her stoner/drinking buddies. Barring her stepping back in line with what "they" want, I'd be shocked if she doesn't end up dead somewhere... I can hear the black helicopters converging on my location even now... | ||
