I saw James open for Edgar Winter with Rick Derringer at Alex Cooley's Electric Ballroom in 1976.Johnny Winter was in the VIP booth about 20' away from me.James was a hard act to follow. |

He was <everywhere>, all of the time! hard-working musician; I saw him open for Hot Tuna, and a third of the people left the arena figuring HT would be a let-down (it was)...:-) |
