Your HID kept my back warm. My BAW worked on the front. That is still one of my fastest trips over the Cherohala, as we tried to beat darkness and cold. | ||

Yeah... I'm not sure, but I think I began the death of motor #1 in my CityX that trip. We made Tellico Plains from Robbinsville, after Deal's Gap, going on dusk, and I honestly didn't know it was a day ride to Suches. Thank GAWWDD for Fattie's unlawful HID's. I remember thinking to myself "these are great roads" in pitch blackness, wondering when we'd get there. I was right the next day, marveling at GA60 and the fact we survived it. Yes Vern, that was probably my fastest Cherohala run, certainly one of my favorites. Let's do it again!!! | ||

Now, waitaminute. IIRC I got us lost around Blue Ridge, and we got a late chicken dinner. Then I remember the blessed brightness of Fattie's lights illuminating the pitch blackness, all the way down. At that time I didn't know the turn for C3 Central's cabin, later I did learn it. And the driveway/Jeepway/planned funicularway. Apparently we need to get together and trade missing mental mammaries. Who's got the spring water and Bengay?? | ||

Oh, and update on my sister's brother- they operated today, got the worst two tumors, drained what they could, and it went quickly. Amazingly, they said he might go home first of next week! They suspect melanoma, but they've yet to get the tissue sample results. Praise be lifted. | ||

Can't have much taste if it's that high of proof. Might as well be Everclear(190 proof), one of my "shop solvents". I like my whiskey around 80-95 proof. Blanton's is the best I've tasted. Any more is like adding ghost peppers to the salsa. Z | ||

...10 years later.  I can hardly believe its been that long! Talk about thread drift! As long as we don't drift into the flaming weeds its all good. Y'all can keep on doin' what yer doin', cause its working. Now that I'm feeling a little better, I have to go back to have my sinuses (what's left anyway) "scoped and cleaned" on the 19th. I've been using a ceramic Neti Pot, with a Xlear packet (stupid name, good product) and a drop of essential oil. Fats, that's the most disgusting thing I've seen this year so far.  | ||
