Gee; I dunno. I'd have to ride my motorcycle all the way to Georgia and eat ribs from Jim's Smokin' Que and camp at my favorite campground anywhere. And it's only a month and a half away; I'd have to hurry up to be there on time... I'm in. |

Is this at TWoS? I noticed John said his "favorite" campground and I assume TWoS is it. I'm thinking about this because it doesn't look like I'll be able to make the Sportster meet and greet in June here in WV. Besides, I want to see TWoS and meet some of the southern Buellers. |

Just put a new battery in the BMW, and dang if I'm not starving for some 'cue... and some N. GA twisties. By that time Brother Hare will be hoppin'. So shall I be. In. |

Adrenaline J- you're no such thing until you've ran these roads with us. To date I've run them on my XB9SX, a Triumph Sprint ST, and nowadays my old R75/7. John will show you how it's done, he's the hungriest getting there to Jim's. I wonder if we can't call in the middle TN hooligans? Tom Bumpus, Jeremy, Barker, et al...? Oh heyull yeah! |

I think I just got called a poser. He he. Where is the nearest campground that I can park a trailer? If I make it, it will be me and the wife with the box trailer full of Sportster and Spyder. I know TWoS doesn't allow such nonsense as trailering to the ride. But I don't want to arrive with my bottom so sore and my tire so worn that I can't keep up with some Squid! I am riding to The Mile, where I'll be setting next to you Brad, but I expect Springfield to be more of a spectator event and March Badness to be more of a participation event. So a sore butt isn't likely to be as big of an issue at The Mile. |

Roy; Two Wheels has a truck/trailer parking area. Lots of people truck their bikes down. They don't allow trucks/cars into the camping area, but they have a very large parking area for the bigger haulers. If you're using the same setup as you had at the WVBR last summer, you'll have no problem. Here's a link to their website: http://twowheelsofsuches.com/ You can tent camp, rent a small cabin or rent a room at the lodge. If you decide to get a room or cabin. I recommend you make a reservation soon. |

Matthew, That looks remarkably like a camper being camped in. Is that picture not at TWoS? (Message edited by Adrenaline Junkie on February 13, 2019) (Message edited by Adrenaline Junkie on February 13, 2019) |

Yes, they have RV parking and you can camp right in your trailer. The space is quite ample. Bring. It. On. Looking forward to meeting you. I'm going to be in my hammock again, next to the creek.

Cabin 8 booked. I'll trailer the Uly down since March weather is weird! I don't think the rear tire would survive the whole trip anyway. |

I don't think there are electrical hookups in that parking area, correct me if I'm wrong. I may ride over and check it out tomorrow. |

Looks like a week before Glitch goes under the knife again... the main thing I'm looking forward to, if possible, is seeing his goofy grin again. Ad Junk, sure hope you can make it. TWoS is simply legendary, and yes, the roads are all heavenly. Helen, Dalhonega, Blue Ridge, the Dragon, even the BRP are all within a short drive/ride from TWoS. Now I just gotta work my buttocks off to pile up $$$ for Glitch Badness AND The Mile! |

Soon I'll be looking into lodge room availability, #3 is the one I usually grab. It has 3 beds, so whomever might want to split up the room cost with me, holler. For those not familiar with the upstairs lodge area, it's pretty awesome IMHO. A large common area living room, big TV with motorcycle content available, a decent kitchen and fridge, and a nice bathroom. For the cost, I think it's a great value. I always appreciate having a fridge and freezer, usually stop at a Wallyworld for provisions on the way down, not to mention some yummy Benton's hot dogs and world class pork products. |

I'm arriving on Thursday as well - probably drive the Spyder up with my camping gear like I did last time, that worked out really well. Carrying it all on my aging back is terrible. Then on Friday, I'll go home and grab the bike. It's nice living only an hour away. |

It's nice living 160 curvy cool miles away. Except maybe for last time.....40 degrees, 40 mph winds, very heavy rain, trees across the roads on the way home. But hey, spring time can be like that around here! |
