I assume the 100 corporations bit is BS, even if technically true. After all, that would probably be large electricity producers, Aluminum processing, etc.
But that doesn't matter, because the premise is false. The IPCC has made it official. Climate isn't the issue. Power is.
The findings are far from conclusive, and more research is needed to understand whether smoking marijuana could indeed, at certain levels, have a positive effect on sperm production.
I guess they will just have to hit the bong and spank the monkey some more.
Yes, to correct systematic injustice to selected groups ( chosen by The Masters ) you are going to have to give up....
All your gasoline toys. Chainsaw, motorcycle, four wheeler, everything. And your money. All of it. And that pesky Freedom thing. You think they can correct all injustice and leave you armed? Don't be silly!
Oh, they won't admit this as an entire goal. It comes out in tiny dribs & drips. Airplanes? Take a train. So... The WW1 replica Eindecker in the garage? The Cessna you saved for at the airport? Nope. And based on the last 2 years, that means your neighbors will be informed you are a planet killing, genocidal, racist monster. That cursed Honda Dream? Proof you are a Colonialist Pig, and the mob should burn you and your family alive.
Venezuela will look like a paradise if the young Turk socialist social media engineering group have their way.
But that's too many dire predictions in a row.
Let me simplify.
Your money & freedoms, gone. Total dictatorship of the zealots. Still no food stockpiles.
When health care is computer networks keeping track that you are allergic to a common drug, and/or need another common drug to stay alive, your life depends on those computer networks.
Not everyone is at such a high risk. But as they look at you in the ER, will a network hack or failure mean that your meds are lifesaving, or threatening?
When, not if, the network is being held hostage by N.Korean/script kiddie hackers, are you safest not getting any drugs at all? Or being far away from the clinic?
Expect fun loving hackers to subvert your McDonald's kiosk order for giggles. Tuesday random burgers get all pickles, no meat! That's funny, if annoying.
Not so much when everyone gets computer orders for Penicillin.
Reading the FAQs, it's like reading Marx. "Shared". "Workers". "Affordable, ADEQUATE (emphasis mine) housing". "FAMILY SUPPORTING (emphasis mine) wages".
This is pure socialism, folks. Scary shit. We're gonna take your cars (no individual ability to move around, so we can keep track of you at all times). We're gonna take your ability to excel. No "nice houses", no "beautiful country homes", because that indicates competition, which means for every winner there will be a loser and we won't allow losing. No potential to become "well-off" by working hard and excelling.
You will live where we tell you, you will do what we tell you when we tell you to, and you will earn what we decide to give you. It will be enough to support you and your family, but nothing more. Forget about luxury. Forget about hobby. Forget about leisure. Forget about vacations, and holidays, and trips to other places. You will eat what we provide for you, shop in stores we run, bank in institutions we own, and you will obey.
upgrade or replace every building in US for state-of-the-art energy efficiency
"I'm sorry, Mr. Worker, but your beautiful all-stone four bedroom home with custom hardwood flooring and double-wall construction cannot be upgraded to the new standard. It will be destroyed/reallocated for the ruling class, and you will be provided with a standard 1 bedroom apartment in the local workers' paradise living quarters. This way you will be able to sustain yourself with the wages we plan to provide for you. You don't need four acres anyway, the State will find a productive use for that area."
I'm wondering what fuel the new high speed trains will run on. I'm pretty sure current ones run on diesel. I suppose if they go fast enough they can just put wind mills on them and they can run forever.
