I just got home. I didn't sleep much with the thunder going on most of the night, that was one helluva storm!! Hope you guys were dry in your tents!! That had to be loud for you guys! I heard the race got postponed until tomorrow. Sounds familiar! Safe travels home guys!!

We had a great time seeing everyone again. Great riding, great company, great food and great racing. What more can a person hope for!? (Oh, I’ve got it.....ice cream stop on the way home at Taylorville Dairy Queen). The Ice Cream isn’t nearly as good as the Ice Cream Korner In Iuka, but it hit the spot!!

We ended up in Taylorville too! We were at Bill's Toasty Shop. Wonderful burgers and fries! I couldn't believe I ate the whole thing!

I didn't know either! I was told we were eating at Bill's so I put it in my Google Maps. I figured it was in Springfield. I was also told it was 20 minutes away. Well 40 minutes later I finally made it to Taylorville! I was afraid I was at the wrong place but no, 20 minutes later everybody showed up.

So, late evening Sunday, I yell at a few guys on a golf cart in the campgrounds that I want to go see the track. Next thing I know I'm off on a guided tour of the fairgrounds. Here is a pic of one of the places I saw.
