expecting consistent logic from emotional appeals to the dark side isn't going to get you anywhere. Not in understanding, or in rebuttal. These folk won't take kindly to a logical unraveling of the tangle of anger. It's like telling a racist that all men are alike under the skin, when they are preaching that Group Y is the devil, stupid, worthless, etc. That mind has wrapped it's hate around itself like a cocoon. And the understanding of it all has nothing to do with logical consistency. It's all about Manipulation of others with emotion. Hate & fear are powerful, ask Yoda. Great tools for evil men to use. How did a bunch of kids suddenly become so helpless that they need "a safe space" when they hear anything that makes them uncomfortable? How does the Liberal college environment become a dictatorship of The Mob? And why, is the Mob, always, every time, pointed in the same direction? Deliberate indoctrination by the education Establishment. Which has had which political orientation for the last century? Just because the gloves are off, the violence has begun, and politicians now Proudly Declare allegiance to the Same Ideology that gives us Nazi Death Camps and Soviet Socialist Gulags, doesn't mean the lies are going to go away. If anything, they will get more and more disconnected from reality. They have to. It's double down time. It's not one person. It's the work of thousands of evil people, and millions of indoctrinated ignorant. Most people you meet who spout nonsense have no idea who gave us Jim Crow laws. Don't look beyond CNN and don't have a clue that Venezuela is a land of starvation and lack of medicine, while the Rulers eat gourmet food imported for them. ( because in one of the richest lands on Earth, even farming is broken from lack of fuel ( in an Oil producing country ) and fertilizer ) That blank look was put there deliberately. There is a high attrition rate for Freshman students. Not prepared for the lack of supervision, not ready for college level courses, social anxiety, disappointment in loss of social status... Etc. ( from Big frog in small pond, to big pond..... ) So, many schools sign up excess numbers, knowing that a certain percentage will leave in the first month, semester, etc. The kids in temp housing get moved into regular dorms as attrition opens space. There's also students that second or third semester move into cheaper off campus housing, which helps when a typical tuition can exceed $50,000 a year. Modern students can expect to have student debt around a quarter million and up. More for a Masters of Doctorate. There's a reason many folk, like the former President, finish school at Ivy league schools, after attending "less prestigious" ones. In the end the paper on the wall & the resume say " Harvard Law" and those are supposed to be magic spell language. And are. Barry would not have received big advances from publishing companies if his resume said "barely squeaked by at Columbia" instead of "Harvard Law Review". Ditto the impact that he was born in Hawaii with wealthy grandparents, boring, became "exciting young man born in Kenya and an inspiration, etc." This attrition process is well known, enough that it got used as a plot point in a tv show about mystical Vampire slayers. It's also a "great" MO for serial killers, but I'm unaware of examples. | ||

Actually, her teacher stopped her from taking the kids hats and then she slapped the teacher so one of the charges pending is for assaulting the teacher. It seems like her problems stem from her moron father. | ||

Reading the article I got the impression that the teacher thought this kid was in the wrong, right from the start. Regardless, this kid needs to feel the full impact of an assault charge. Politics and disagreement don't give you the right to attack someone you don't agree with. Speak out, sure. Physical assault? Nope. | ||

With only one sample, it seems fairly talented 14 year old boy poetry. Nothing I'd want to read, I outgrew love sick angst & inchoate rate against institutions I didn't understand, long ago. Now I rage against institutions I understand all too well, and get teary eyed at classic love songs.  "Twerking in church" was a bit clever. I thought the John Lennon play about being a small child in wartime England was better, with the COE benediction, "& all the holy bank notes" but that was a very mature writer, not a sensitive child. The poets fury at rejection, and accusations of evil at those who fail to unconditionally love him, are an excellent example of Snowflake, as a sub species of spoiled brat. |
