Pretty sure he said ‘any’ heritage, not citizenship in a tribe. But whatever. Perhaps he should test his own dna, show that he’s 1/1024th native and split the donation between her charity and his. That would drive home the point that she’s no more a native than most everyone else. Along those lines, as I’ve said several times on this forum, we’ll be better off in the future after we’ve screwed each other into one color. Not only because of the lack of the us and them factor, but because genetic diversity, as much as such a thing is possible in modern humans, is a good thing. | ||

The thing about genetic diversity is that it depends on genetic differences. If you get a genetic homogeneous population, even with very large numbers, and single virus, or other factor can devastate the entire population. Even then, people will find ways to be tribal and hate each other. American Indians went to war with American Indians. White Europeans went to war with white Europeans. Black Africans went to war with black Africans. And so on... The real, and elusive key is to end the identity politics. | ||

Humans have undergone several near extinction bottlenecks. We are not genetically diverse. I have more in common with an Australian aboriginal, genetically, than a dog and her immediate offspring. Dogs are genetically diverse, we are not. Humans whom are as far apart as possible, genetically, which isn’t much, having children produce genetically diverse children. Genetic diversity doesn’t mean everyone looks different. It means an individual’s dna is quite different from their parent. That diversity can only be achieved by interbreeding. So we’ll all be the same color, but more diverse genetically as individuals. This is healthy. Inbreeding causes problems. | ||

They're not bright enough to actually *think* about what the other side does, so they simply project their own malfeasance on the other side, and accuse them of doing exactly what they themselves are guilty of. And don't you dare call them on it - only racists do that. How dare you question Hydra? They're right - they TOLD you they're right, so there can't be any debate! And, if they lose an opinion poll (election), it simply can't be that people don't agree with them and the opponent ran a better campaign - oh, no. The ONLY answer is foul play at the polling place - voter supression, or racist officials, or racist voters. | ||
