Every time I see a new picture of that van, I'm more convinced it's fake, he's fake, and it's a paid, organized operation to influence the election.
I really need lots more information to be convinced otherwise, and I don't think it's just me being in love with the worst case scenario.
I'd prefer, by far, that they caught the right guy, that he is a loser trying a publicity stunt, and not a next step before a murderous false flag op. ( like Antifa/Soros mercenaries hosing down a "counter protest" to a Christian Free Speech rally, in a drive by with machine guns, that disappear into the night, while Seattle police are ordered to keep a distance & hands off. Sunday or Monday. )
As is, this is literally a Jack Reacher novel, without the hero, or hope of solution.
Nevermind that surcharge or the elections, we've got serious business at hand. WHO is responsible for the desecration of Moe and the boys ? Unbelievable ! Heads should roll.

"California surcharge"
From the people who brought you:
"California Certified Clean Idle"
"Diesel Exhaust Fluid"
"Diesel Particulate Filter"
The bane of the transportation industry has quickly become shipping anything into or out of California. New York is a close second with it's $100.00 toll on the GW bridge, and other such extortions.

The sheer ignorance of people that think that a cost or fee laid onto a business doesn't get passed straight through to the consumer is astounding and incorrigible.
I think they should vote her Speaker ASAP; that way her philosophy is on prominent display. Her constituents need to be shown for the uncaring morons that they are. And NY needs to develop a better candidate for governor than Cuomo...
In case you are too old and can't understand the words: Bodies Drowning Pool Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Beaten why for (why for) Can't take much more (Here we go, here we go, here we go) One, nothing wrong with me Two, nothing wrong with me Three, nothing wrong with me Four, nothing wrong with me One, something's got to give Two, something's got to give Three, something's got to give now Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Push me again (again) This is the end (Here we go, here we go, here we go) One, nothing wrong with me Two, nothing wrong with me Three, nothing wrong with me Four, nothing wrong with me One, something's got to give Two, something's got to give Three, something's got to give now Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Skin against skin, blood and bone You're all by yourself but you're not alone You wanted in now you're here Driven by hate consumed by fear Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor One, nothing wrong with me Two, nothing wrong with me Three, nothing wrong with me Four, nothing wrong with me One, something's got to give Two, something's got to give Three, something's got to give now Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor
In John Ringo's zombie novel series, they find the best way to attract the zombies that flock to noise ( fast zombies ) is to put big speakers on the fighting vehicles. And the first tank to roll ashore in Long Beach......plays that tune. Great moment. ( with the crew singing along..."Nothing wrong with Me!" )
If they ever make a movie of that series, it will rock.
Ringo not only has his characters play music, he supplies his playlist while writing in the forward.
I'm not a zombie novel fan, but this one is good. NSFW.
Even better - and granted, I live in RURAL Maryland, where everyone knows everyone (very Mayberry-esque) - when I voted?
"last name please"
"G-o-e-t-z"
"Date of birth"
"9/17..."
"Address"
"14216..."
Great. Sign here please.
No ID check. And, when we fill out the PENCIL ballots (still can't get over that), it gets shot into a scanner...and vanishes forever. No screenshot of what it just scanned, no evidence of how I just voted, no proof of who the hell I actually am.
As a retired Marine friend pointed out to me, the time honored method for dealing with a murderous lynch mob, ( for the entire written history of mankind ) is to kill as many as possible, as quickly and brutally efficiently as possible, pursue the runners, and encourage the escapees to hide in their basements, in terror, so they never come back.
He then cited the Nika revolt in Constantinople, British action in India, ( and New England, in the 1700s ) & the Red Russians.
Of course, today that would be horrific public relations in the case of a Hydra sponsored event.... The real Mob Establishment of The Media would crucify you.
Which I will point out is promoting lynch mob violence against their enemies..... And are accessories to it.
I should probably make clear I in no way recommend such action! ( until they break in, then, self defense! ) And point out juries don't respond well to reason when you get accused of unnecessary violence.
I'll bet in jurisdictions such as DC and nearby MD that if one of those clowns broke in and you defended yourself that you would not get a Texas-style pat on the back from the authorities.
Maryland does not have "stand your ground" - we are required to seek escape and retreat when not on home ground. If and ONLY if there is no feasible route for safe escape, are we allowed to defend ourselves in public or in our automobiles.
When on home ground...the rules are slightly more gray. Castle Doctrine does apply, but like the wear&carry process where we have to show "good and prudent reason" to carry a firearm (insert 2A debate here)...we can potentially get in trouble if we shoot an intruder inside our own homes. Especially if we put them down / halt their progress, then move in for a final shot. Here, that would constitute 'excessive force', even at 3am in my own front hall.
I guess the moral is...once they're inside, make the first shots count and don't miss.
I TRULY hope it never comes to that, for me or for anyone here or for any of my friends. However...I was a Boy Scout, and I believe in preparedness...
