At the time I had no idea how much LSD was being consumed by kiddie show writers. Then, in college, I read The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test, Hell's Angels by Hunter S. Thompson, ( and his Fear & Loathing books ) and the works of Timothy Leary. ( Who, btw, is dead. ) The President's Analyst... https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062153/ Had Acid, explicitly. ( and one of the great political comedies of all time ) But reading these books made me laugh at a lot of my past that had, as intended, gone over my head. Remember... The Monkees? | ||
