My son-in-law has been riding a small scooter to and from work for a couple of years, now. Last month, he and my daughter took the MSF Beginning Riders Course. He just sent me a text with a picture of his new bike. It's a Blast! he said his mechanic thinks it's in great shape. I don't know what year it is, but I don't think it matters. For what it's worth, it looks to be all stock and it has black plastics.

I replied that he's gonna love it!

Just thought I'd share some good news.

As a former Blast owner, I can guarantee he's gonna love that bike. I haven't had mine since Dec of 2009 and I still think back fondly about that bike.

Tell you son in law he hit a home run buying a Blast.

The kid down at Starbucks who chats with me and my wife when we ride the Uly down there was talking about getting a Blast. I thought those had been removed from the planet, but I guess not.

If you watch the blast cube video with Erik in it, Pick and chose Erik's words, sentences, and partial sentences to describe why Harley would cut Buell. I can see Wandell cubing an XB or 1125 while making a video using a lot of the same wording. Was it someone's cruel attempt at foreshadowing. Who was responsible for the thought of putting together the cube video. Erik's a thinking man. It had to have a perverse sting in the aftermath of the plant closing.
