Here's how that Custom Sportster turned out. A little bit sweeter than a West Coast Chopper or an OCC special, IMO:

Would sure like to see the finished frame. The chain is too tight. |

Hell yeah, you've turned it into a proper motorbike very nice. |

It's a custom. It's not a race bike; nor is it going to be a daily rider. I think it's a refreshing change from the usual Sportster customs. I wouldn't own it. It's the wrong bike for me. My Roadster is set up the way I like it and is much more practical. But I think it's miles ahead of something like this:
Some of the CNC work is lovely, and it's interesting how they created it, step by step. Here's a link to the thread over on the XL Forum: http://xlforum.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2057545 |

Is the oil reservoir missing entirely? I like it, but it looks like a lot of other one-off Sportsters to me. There's only so much you can do with that engine. I'd definitely ride the piss out of it. |

Oil's in the frame backbone. |

Kinda silly that they left that huge casting in front of the engine. The original engine mount location? If it's not doing anything anymore, why leave it there? Why not use it for something else? H-D didn't route an oil line in there or something, did they? |

Nice Custom.Nice direction. They should've lost the engine "boss". Another confusing issue is the chain tension with regards to swingarm movement. But as Crusty said,it's Art. |

I like it! I'd ride it. But ya, not much Sportster left at all. Engine boss removal, chain tensioner and better wheels would take it over the top |

I'm still interested in seeing the completed frame. I could find a shot of it on the site. |

It's solid mounted now too, right? That oil tank/frame is gonna crack. |
