She was certainly in a position to know what's what. The corruption of the left runs deep, and they are more than willing to kill of some pawns to protect themselves.
Establishment Orthodoxy, "our way or the highway", is A Bad Thing, left, right, or center.
Some of the complaints are old enough few remember. I remember the Establishment turning on the John Birch society, but didn't know at the time it was over support for the Vietnam war.
An interesting study might be to collate Party registrations with arrests. Type of crime, etc.
Unfortunately the result might be a law demanding "one Party's" have an equal number of arrests to the other, Or the Obama/European practice of ignoring crimes of one group. ( even when they suicide/slaughter a school or rape torture thousands of children )
But never, ever, the admission that the group, as a group, has a problem with it's members, because of the culture of that group.
Not all terrorists are Muslim. Not only Democrats are criminals.
But when the bodies hit the floor, you sure won't get even odds from a smart bookie.
It was a Golden Age. For a brief, shining, moment, we had religious freedom. You were not required to worship Gods you didn't believe in. You could mock another's faith, and only be rude.
No longer. The Sun has set.
Today, the push is to prosecute anyone who would speak out against the religions of slavery. Obama has spoken.
Facebook and Google and Wikipedia and Twitter all work to suppress thought & speech & mention of the evils of the Marxist faiths. ( too many headlines to list )
I don't care if you worship Baal, or Set, or Jehovah. But the ones who crave power do care.
Jordan Peterson does some great videos. I take some exception to one thing in this video though. He talks of racial superiority as being a "marker" for where people on the right have gone too far. I agree with that, but it's not an issue that is really a right wing ideology. In fact, it's largely associated with the left in history, and has never ended. Today we have left wing groups such as Black Lives Matter. Tell them All Lives Matter and you will be strongly rebuked. If that isn't a racial superiority message, what is? At the same time, the left pushes all sorts of legislation that is incredibly harmful to the Black community.
Perhaps Peterson is aware that he glossed right over this in this video, just for the sake of simplicity. I would hope so. Otherwise, it's another solid video by Peterson.
Consider the rejection of racist attitudes both self policing and anti infiltration.
You don't want racist morons standing beside you, no matter if they love Soros or John Adams.
It's possible for people to like some of the things you do, and yet also think very differently on specific topics.
For example, I know a few trans friends. I try to treat them as they wish, like any other human being. But men who wish they were women competing in women's sports? Unfair. Where you draw the line between polite behavior to folk and rational awareness of physical reality? I don't know. But the expressions on the faces of girls beaten in a race with a trans guy seem to be an indication.
On the subject of not letting the Klan co-opt your position/group/party.
As the discussion above shows, the left has no filter. Even if you believe in going Alinsky on your enemies is a winning tactic, using the same hate creation process as the Left, you don't want swastika tattooed thugs associated with you.
At least I don't.
We could argue fine points of sexuality in law, or how fair it is to deny service to any group.... And there are grey areas. Can I force a Muslim owner caterer to serve BLTs?
But for well over 3000 years, you can instantly, positively, identify evil men when they Blame The Jews.
No psychics in pools of milky liquid predicting crime. But a second by second record of your position, and interactions with the web, available to police, and probably your local government officials.
How long before predictive software is used?
For example, your permanent record used to classify you by race, politics, income, purchase record, etc. Then as your cell phone moves into a rich neighborhood, a police alert issued to monitor your movements, so if you stop they can jump on you before stomping on a yard sign calling for your murder, ( at a rich NRA hater's house ) or getting within shotgun distance of the State Senator that voted to get you laid off?
Science fiction, right?
Wrong.
The Post office has every field person carry a scanner to track packages. Mail Carriers & supervision. They continually report position back to the System. Their boss, anyone with the password, can look online and trace where & when a Carrier has been, and is now.
Reasonable, keeping track, eh? Even good customer service! You can call and be told the Mail Carrier is just 2 blocks away, and your letter, or Amazon order, will be there in 17 minutes. (Based on calculated mandatory performance )
And the System will send emails to the boss if a Carrier pauses for more than X minutes, or two Carriers are in proximity, for more than two minutes. Those emails demand a response. The supervisor Will question the Employee, and report to the System. Failure to answer System inquiries is a firing offense.
UPS & FEDEX have similar systems. Ask the trucking company experts here, they'll tell you.
Everyone with a cell phone is in their own data collection system. What use that system gets? How would you know?
And if you pay for the hardware, (or are given it ) you can track everyone in a fairly large radius yourself. You probably don't have the $165,000 at hand or the expertise to use the software, but you might. I don't know what you'd use that information for, but I can think of several ways to profit from it.
The Mall scene from Minority Report, where the ads are targeted? ( and the Police can track you ) It's already bigger than that.
Now excuse me while I try and ignore all the ads on my browser for whatever I Googled last.
For example, I know a few trans friends. I try to treat them as they wish, like any other human being. But men who wish they were women competing in women's sports? Unfair. Where you draw the line between polite behavior to folk and rational awareness of physical reality? I don't know. The problem with intersectionality is that it's a bull term people use when trying to rationalize incongruent ideas.
My argument in court on that is the base argument in the country.
If your ideas on what the world should be are positive, and good for people, you Want discussion. If your ideas are Progressive, AKA dictatorship and oppression, you Want others to be shut up. Good vs. Evil. 101
If you intend to do good, body & dash cameras show how you were right & others were jerks. If you intend to do evil, you don't want witnesses or a record.
Thus the Principal intended to do wrong, and is furious his evil might be exposed.
It's that simple.
This is different than watching your neighbors with cameras to catch them having sex or partying. That's not an interaction with you. A helmet cam to record getting cut off, or having interactions with the law, IS legitimate record keeping.
I could be partly wrong, there are shades of intent.
Plus, he’s a minor. Why is this charge even public? Were the circumstances so outrageous, the harm so grave, that they decided to prosecute him as an adult? I’m with Pat on this. Interactions with government employees carrying out their official duties cannot be considered private conversations. I suspect their intentions were other than honorable, and are incensed that their wrongdoings might come under scrutiny.
Invasion of privacy should be held in high regard and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
It doesn't matter what your age.
If you had pre-knowledge of a possible issue then another adult should have been present (which there was) or he could have asked for permission to record. If they refuse, conversation over, walk away until permission is granted, which usually involves a lawyer and a recording for each side or person.
Another ignorant statement:
"He didn’t do anything wrong, and for him to be snatched from his family, the emotional impact that’s going to have …"
Wrong! According to the law, he did do something wrong.
Although I do agree it should not be public since he is a minor. (unless the family made it so)
