Many of the folk quoted here, praised by normal people, started as leftist ideologues, who finally saw through the propaganda that originally motivated them, and turned into the most reviled writers demolishing the oppressive authoritarian intolerant thinking typified by CNN and the folk praising Hamas and MS-13 today. I won't name names, since I'd probably get some wrong. Several folk often linked to at American Thinker, National Review, and especially Breitbart, ( who was one, and collected them ) started out progressive, then realized they were actually fans of Liberal Western Civilization, the fountain that fed the American Revolution and inspired our Founding fathers. ( note that "liberal" is used in the original sense, not the stolen word used by Marxists to hide behind, properly reviled by centrists like Rush & M. Savage ) Most of these folk changed course in college, when their idealism ran aground on the rocks and shoals of anti freedom of thought Marxist intolerance. Some later, as the facts of making a life collided with the fantasy of political indoctrination. In any case they are the most effective critics of Leftism, because they were inside, and saw the mechanism of the House of Horrors. That's also why they are the most hated. Considered heretics, to be stoned for their defection. ( I saw the light in high school, but I was in an AP program in a liberal suburban school, so..... And while Al is wrong on nearly everything he says in this article, the reality is that White supremacy is dying, thankfully, when the British Royal Family Incest Machine lets a Prince, even one who is redundant and hopefully will never be King, marry a girl who isn't Anglo Saxon or Germanic, to keep the gene pool Royal and too small to prevent inbreeding. It is a nice change in a long history of insane marriage traditions. I personally think it's because of Dr. Who, but you may disagree. Happy to argue the notion. The rest of Al's bile is wrong... but the headline has a point. In America, there are a handful of White Racists of the old school, mostly Democrats, and, of course, Planned Parenthood, that has faithfully followed and fulfilled it's founder's desire to kill lots of black babies, and the Democrat Leadership, who since LBJ has rejoiced in the destruction of the Black Family and the Welfare State that keeps blacks on the Democrat Plantation. When you are on the "keep an eye on the cops" committee, an institution created to address the "who guards the guardians?" Problem, a well known since at least ancient Rome human problem , and the police not only lie to you, they spread lies about you, to cover the cop's crimes, you've got a problem where massive bloodshed is imminent. Often, the problem of bad cops is a limited one. A few take bribes to let their sponsors control the drug trade, busting outsiders, and ignoring their benefactors. Occasionally entire precincts become corrupt, to the point that good cops are killed. ( see movie Serpico ) Mostly the bulk of a town isn't that effected, just the "poor & minorities suffer most" areas of town, but sometimes the rot extends to interference in politics , with dirty pols the majority, and reformers cut out or killed. See Chicago. Past and current. NYC, periodically, LA, perhaps more in movies than real life...... Or perhaps not. Today, after more than eight years of deliberate seeding of the Justice System with paid political operatives, we've reached the pandemic level where equality under the law is not just ignored, it is flaunted. When Senators warn their enemies that the intelligence and police community will destroy them, it is an Empire Within. Note that Hydra, George Soros, Nazi, megathief, has been sponsoring District Attorney and Attorney General candidates for years. Buying the police from the top down. Or glance at how much of the agents involved in ignoring Hillary's crimes, and "investigating" Ttump, are Obama and Clinton appointees. ( There are exceptions appointed by Bush the Younger, but they are Clinton minions George liked, possibly because he was a nice guy idiot...... Maybe ) If this was a small town den of corruption, you could get the State Police or FBI to come flush the toilet. When it IS the FBI????? Not because of ANYTHING he had done, but because they were afraid he wasn't going to allow the Left to run things as they wanted. They may make noises about "pusxy grabbing" or un presidential behavior, but that's just lying, retro reasons after the fact. It's telling that the Left pretends to fear a Christian dictatorship, but almost every other American is completely indifferent to the notion, since they would just ignore being preached at, or sue to kill any restrictive laws. My guess is because the Left killed religion as such, for it's members/suckers, substituting the Holy State, but missed all the aspects of faith that make it attractive. Plus, having a fanatical, intolerant, religion that claims not to be a religion, to the point of hysterics when it's called one, loses out on the advantage of being respected for being faithful, even if you disagree. I would bet a six pack, craft beer, that for every angry nut who has an arsenal he publicly claims is to stop an imaginary tide of priests seeking to forcibly baptize them, there are thousands of Americans who have told no one they don't intend to allow Sharia to conquer America. Several recent polls, plus the popularity of Sen. Bernie Sanders, demonstrate that young people prefer socialism to free market capitalism. That, I believe, is a result of their ignorance and indoctrination during their school years, from kindergarten through college. For the most part, neither they nor many of their teachers and professors know what free market capitalism is. Free market capitalism, wherein there is peaceful voluntary exchange, is morally superior to any other economic system. Why? Let’s start with my initial premise. All of us own ourselves. I am my private property, and you are yours. Murder, rape, theft and the initiation of violence are immoral because they violate self-ownership. Similarly, the forcible use of one person to serve the purposes of another person, for any reason, is immoral because it violates self-ownership. Tragically, two-thirds to three-quarters of the federal budget can be described as Congress taking the rightful earnings of one American to give to another American — using one American to serve another. Such acts include farm subsidies, business bailouts, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, welfare and many other programs. Free market capitalism is disfavored by many Americans — and threatened — not because of its failure but, ironically, because of its success. Free market capitalism in America has been so successful in eliminating the traditional problems of mankind — such as disease, pestilence, hunger and gross poverty — that all other human problems appear both unbearable and inexcusable. The desire by many Americans to eliminate these so-called unbearable and inexcusable problems has led to the call for socialism. That call includes equality of income, sex and race balance, affordable housing and medical care, orderly markets, and many other socialistic ideas. Let’s compare capitalism with socialism by answering the following questions: In which areas of our lives do we find the greatest satisfaction, and in which do we find the greatest dissatisfaction? It turns out that we seldom find people upset with and in conflict with computer and clothing stores, supermarkets, and hardware stores. We do see people highly dissatisfied with and often in conflict with boards of education, motor vehicles departments, police and city sanitation services. What are the differences? For one, the motivation for the provision of services of computer and clothing stores, supermarkets, and hardware stores is profit. Also, if you’re dissatisfied with their services, you can instantaneously fire them by taking your business elsewhere. It’s a different matter with public education, motor vehicles departments, police and city sanitation services. They are not motivated by profit at all. Plus, if you’re dissatisfied with their service, it is costly and in many cases even impossible to fire them. A much larger and totally ignored question has to do with the brutality of socialism. In the 20th century, the one-party socialist states of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Germany under the National Socialist German Workers’ Party and the People’s Republic of China were responsible for the murder of 118 million citizens, mostly their own. The tallies were: USSR 62 million, Nazi Germany 21 million and PRC 35 million. No such record of brutality can be found in countries that tend toward free market capitalism. Here’s an experiment for you. List countries according to whether they are closer to the free market capitalist or to the socialist/communist end of the economic spectrum. Then rank the countries according to per capita gross domestic product. Finally, rank the countries according to Freedom House’s “Freedom in the World” report. You will find that people who live in countries closer to the free market capitalist end of the economic spectrum not only have far greater wealth than people who live in countries toward the socialistic/communist end but also enjoy far greater human rights protections. As Dr. Thomas Sowell says, “socialism sounds great. It has always sounded great. And it will probably always continue to sound great. It is only when you go beyond rhetoric, and start looking at hard facts, that socialism turns out to be a big disappointment, if not a disaster.” Walter E. I've also noticed several of my Veteran friends are very liberal. They've been in the military where the government has provided a job, housing and food. When they leave the military they still want the government to take care of them. I try to explain that the rest of us were working and paying our taxes so the military can exist!
