OK badwebbers.... I am getting back into Buells again... miss the x1's... I have a fellow Badwebber that I might be purchasing a bike from. But he is 6+ hours away. thinking about having it shipped. I need some advice. Who or what shipping company have you used? what the heck is the process for it? Do I send the check to the badwebber then they set up the shipping? do I set up the shipping? |

6 hours? I'd just go get it, even if I had to rent/buy a small trailer. Still easier than having it shipped. I've used forward air and haulbikes.com. No complaints with either. |

I'd have to second that. If you've already committed to the purchase, I would either trailer it or ride it home. Unless it's not roadworthy or you need to inspect it one last time before giving the seller the briefcase full of benjamins. |

Rent a truck or van and go get it. Shipping is going to be at least $400 once you really get into the prices. |

Yeah Chicago traffic is double plus ungood. During the day = not moving Middle of the night = moving but scary My vote is for scary moving. |
