Walkout was meant to be peaceful. But these students tore down flag, jumped on cop car, Tennessee police say MPD: Student Carrying ‘Trump’ Flag Assaulted Outside School As if this was about keeping kids safe in schools. It's just pushing the agenda of the Progressives. On another note... Details will be sparse here, but I became aware yesterday of a student threatening mass murder in school. Turns out this student has a long history of problems, and his father has threatened school administrators in the past. It was serious enough that a few years ago bus drivers were given his picture and told to report it immediately if he was seen on school property. This morning I was told that the school administrators are putting on the transportation department to figure out how to deal with it, because if we can't transport him, he wont get to school. WTF? The threat was aimed as school kids during school. Because a bus driver found out about it, it becomes a transportation problem? I know if he shoots up the school they will blame it on a gun. It's never the psychotic person who has been a problem for years that they did their best to ignore. EDIT: Meant to mention that I got an email from the Michigan Education Association urging us to wear orange in support of the kids walking out of school. Since when does anyone involved in education of children support them walking out of school! WTF! (Message edited by SIFO on March 15, 2018) | ||

In Michigan? One that values the teaching and traditions of the greatest leaders of all time. Stalin & Mao. The transportation dept. Is responsible for school safety? That needs to get into the hands of InfoWars or Breitbart, anonymously, so the public knows who to pressure and sue. I speculate the local district is invested in the racism maintenance act program.... the Obama "letter" ( pen & phone ) on disciplinary preferences by race. Which works out to lying about crime. To be fair, it encourages bad behavior for all kids no matter their skin color. | ||

Sifo, Incidents like that kid above are more commonplace than most people know. In the SO's district, they had a similar issue with a kid (and her parents), to the point other parents threatened to sue if the child was allowed on the bus again. The districts solution was to provide a daily taxi cab to school and back. To be fair, they did offer to provide family and mental counseling, but the family refused. Right now the potential mass shooters have more rights than their potential victims, but no one is talking about that. ...and then there is the child who refuses to get out of bed in the morning and the district provides for an aid to stop by in the morning to roust the child out of bed because the parents are afraid of him. They too refused counseling. It's gotten so bad, several teachers have written notes to the district and lawyers with a list of kids to interview in case something happens to them. The SO's list has 4 kids on it. | ||

Damn! Schools are completely unhinged! Actually suspending a student because he refused to leave the class room during class hours! Had I been teaching I would have let anyone leave and locked the door behind them. Minorities really are minorities in this area, and I've had little problem with all but a few. Very different from when I drove in IL. I will say that there is a clear correlation with economics though. In IL, that correlation also went with skin color. Interestingly though, I know of a school in DuPage county IL that has a particular route that nobody every wants. That route happens to cover the richest part of one of the richest towns in a pretty well off county. Lots of Chicago lawyers living in that area. Can you imagine rich lawyers having bratty kids? | ||

I'm in rather a bad mood. I'm dealing with a bureaucracy older than The United States, & other than a century of layers of regulation and corruption, not to mention stealing all the pension funds, I can't rightly blame the Democrats, per se. I'm sure the Egypt of the Pharaohs had equally smug and obstructive bureaucrats who also delighted in delaying wax tablets through the system so they could reject them as being too late & say No, making their supervision happy and getting near sexual satisfaction in the only way their shriveled souls can. Bitter much? Since I haven't lied to Congress, the Dept. Of Justice, any courts or the President, my view on McCabe's multi million dollar pension has the sins of covet & rage. Envy too as I can't afford an elite law firm, nor expect rich politicians to solicit donations to pay for it. A pox on them. I understand I will be paying to support these criminals for the rest of their lives. I would much rather my taxes go to the prison system to do so instead of their pension fund. Secretly wishing for those who abuse their power as public servants to have painful boils doesn't seem to be a sin..... so I am. End rant. | ||
