Doesn't surprise me, I bought 4 pistols and 2 rifles while Obama was the POTUS. And a "bit" of ammo for everyone in my arsenal. |

Yeah. I had one AR I considered little more than a fancy target rifle. Don't tell me that nobody "needs" an AR to defend themselves...I built one specifically for the purpose soon after. |

Unfortunately that's not funny. In New York, possession of an open topped box with a spring in it is a felony and will ruin your life if you are stopped & arrested. but only scary springs. As determined by folk who work for one of the richest men in the world, who lives surrounded by armed guards. And really, really doesn't want you to have any weapons at all. https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/03/g uns_men_and_murder_the_data.html |

So now in Washington state, you can have your guns confiscated, without due process, for simply looking at people through a shop window! It would be nice if the ACLU would jump on this clear violation of rights. Hopefully the NRA or some other organization will take on the legal fees to run this up to the Supreme Court. People are likely to die over this crap. Seattle Police Begin Gun Confiscations: No Laws Broken, No Warrant, No Charges |

Florida Republicans have sold out. SB 7026 is set to be signed by Rick Scott tomorrow. Among the provisions are a ban on "bump stocks" and any supposed rate of fire enhancing devices, increase the age to purchase a rifle to 21, and institute a waiting period for long guns. These things keep people safe and guard the children. Stupid. I foresee this as a beginning to all manner of similar useless "gun control" schemes. These guys get some public pressure on them via the Communist News Network and they fold like a cheap suit. (Message edited by Rick_a on March 08, 2018) |

"Obviously the idiots that screwed up California moved North." That's a fact. Started in the 80s. Now they're moving to Texas, and doing the same thing. |

They are flooding Texas too. The sad thing is they move to get away from the negative impacts of liberal policies, mostly out of control expenses and taxes ... but they then bring that same political thinking with them without understanding they are part of the problem. |

Tucker was talking on the news last night about U-haul rates in and out of SF. In, from Vegas I believe, was $139 for a 24' truck. Out? Was something silly like $2300. No, that's not a typo. Like rats from a sinking ship. I hope Trump, et al, take on the libtards and squash 'em, and do what needs to be done about the illegal immigrants. In the meantime, let's get the right verbiage out in the press: It's not racist, and here's why. We aren't discriminating against a race, or a creed, or a belief. You can be from Mexico, or Canada, or Sweden - it doesn't matter. If you're here ILLEGALLY, that's why we're going after you. There are laws and processes in place to allow you to become an American citizen, if you qualify. Follow those rules, become a citizen, and there is no problem. We welcome you. Don't follow the rules? That's where the problems are. YOU. ARE. ILLEGAL. Period. Doesn't matter color, creed, race, religion - you're breaking the law. Do not vote. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Do it right and become a citizen...or get out. And don't get butt-hurt when we help you leave. You had your chance; you blew it. Bye. |

Never more true than today:
quote:A principal source of errors and injustice are false ideas of utility. For example: that legislator has false ideas of utility who considers particular more than general conveniencies, who had rather command the sentiments of mankind than excite them, who dares say to reason, "Be thou a slave;" who would sacrifice a thousand real advantages to the fear of an imaginary or trifling inconvenience; who would deprive men of the use of fire for fear of their being burnt, and of water for fear of their being drowned; and who knows of no means of preventing evil but by destroying it. The laws of this nature are those which forbid to wear arms, disarming those only who are not disposed to commit the crime which the laws mean to prevent. Can it be supposed, that those who have the courage to violate the most sacred laws of humanity, and the most important of the code, will respect the less considerable and arbitrary injunctions, the violation of which is so easy, and of so little comparative importance? Does not the execution of this law deprive the subject of that personal liberty, so dear to mankind and to the wise legislator? and does it not subject the innocent to all the disagreeable circumstances that should only fall on the guilty? It certainly makes the situation of the assaulted worse, and of the assailants better, and rather encourages than prevents murder, as it requires less courage to attack unarmed than armed persons. - Cesare Beccaria, Essay on Crimes and Punishments, 1764

Well, 18-20 Y/O persons have lost their constitutional rights in FL. The NRA is fighting it, but they rarely have success in such matters. SCOTUS should be hearing these cases. Waiting periods are dumb. Like someone committed to murder is going to change their life in a few days. Police, military, and correctional officers are exempt from the 18-20 year olds firearms prohibition. They should be able to buy handguns then, too. The unorganized militia is all able bodied persons 18-45. Arbitrary laws are arbitrary. |

""Obviously the idiots that screwed up California moved North." That's a fact. Started in the 80s. Now they're moving to Texas, and doing the same thing." "Californians have flooded Colorado too. Too much like locusts." It's funny that most of the people leaving california came from somewhere else and can't live with the mess they created here so they go somewhere else and screw up that environment. I came to California from Colorado to get away from the silly politicians (Remember the slogan: "Imagine a great Peñas"?) and white crap that blankets the ground several months out of the year. Before I moved to California, I was amazed at all my friends and co-workers that moved here, then back to Colorado because they could not take it here. Everybody wants to live in paradise, but don't understand the more people, the less of a paradise it is (and the more the politics screw things up because of that). |

It's quite easy to assemble an 80% Glock or AR-15 these days. The more restrictive these laws become, the more home builders there will be. There seems to an emerging movement for printed frames and lowers for the same. That's probably the future. |

CA requires a serial number on every firearm. Yes, even if you 'made it yourself', which includes 80%. I'm not sure of the process (as I would never subject my firearms to it) so I don't know if it can be done anonymously. No number = misdemeanor (and probably seizure) |

Rick, you only see the temporary transition loopholes. When, not if, those parts become illegal to sell and possess, and ammunition is not for sale legally, then the means for defense narrow until only criminals will have guns and criminals aren't a protection against tyranny. The end game is always power from hate, rule by mob, & lies the whole path to the time the above the law need not fear us. |

Any law that is unconstitutional should be challenged if not legally than through civil disobedience. That's the very spirit of the 2nd and the purpose of its genesis. |

https://pjmedia.com/parenting/parkland-survivors-a ttack-dana-loeschs-children/?utm_source=PJMCoffeeB reak&utm_medium=email&utm_term=March2018 If you support actual rights you are threatened with rape and the murder of your children. In the battle for hearts and minds, you can consider this. The NRA does not threaten anyone except to tell politicians that the truth about their ideology will be told and that Americans will exercise their right to vote to oppose them in legal elections. The enemies of the NRA threaten to rape and murder women and children. Which side are you on? |

Nope. A stern talking to and slap on the wrist. It's great when the left show their true colors when their agenda is on full exposure. It never fails. They want a scapegoat, and they want it destroyed. |
