How can I find threads I've posted in and threads I've started? Searching for my username turns up nothing. There are a few threads I followed a while ago that I can't find again, and figured I should be able to find them, since I posted in them. Thank you |

Looks just like me! Ebutch - thanks. Is there no way to do it native to the forum? Basically every forum I've been on, since the 90s has had a feature where you can see the threads you've started and commented on. Speaking of, why DOES the forum appear to be straight out of the 80s? |

I found 15 posts for you Rudy:
If you change the value in "Look in:" to "Names of authors" (see below) you get much better results:
I guess in the 80's people evaluated things deeper to see how the tool works and nowadays everyone expects results with a minimum of effort on their behalf... |

1313 Thanks!! You're right. I've gotten lazy in my assumption that forum functionality has long been standardized. |

The forum is now 20 years old, it has had only one major software upgrade in that time. Many of its functions are stuck in the late 90s/early 00s, including the search. When searching your username with 1313's instructions, do not put too many days in the box, if it has to search too many posts you will just get a white screen. Given you have only been here a month that isn't a problem, but it does make it hard for me to find something I posted 8 years ago. |
