Hello all, I need to remove both my front and rear tire however I can not seem to find the nut size for these bolts does anyone happen to know them? I have a torque wrench but no socket to fit them. Thanks! |

I use a 15/16 inch on the front. I have a little hose clamp behind the nut so I can see it hasn't loosened. For the rear I use a 36mm socket and a smooth jaw wrench on the other side to prevent spinning. There is a note in the Good Book about this nut being metric. My 36mm feels a little loose so maybe a 35mm is adequate? The Good Book also says to retighten to 70 ft lbs, but if I go there, everything binds up I think too much, so I've safety wired mine at a looser setting. What do other people do?
