http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2017/12/te n_great_conservative_novels_and_why_they_are_relev ant_today.html I would add "The Last Centurion" by John Ringo. A 2008 novel written from the point of view of an U.S. Army captain left behind to guard a supply dump in Iran as plague decimates the planet and he tries to get his troops home. ( has made progressives I've loaned it to very angry. ) |

1) Franken has not yet stepped down. Until he does, he hasn't. Why do they not DEMAND his immediate resignation? The answer is pretty straight forward. That's not what they want. It's all a dog and pony show. 2) The accusation against Trump oogling girls back stage has been refuted by others who were back stage. It's rare that you have accusations of sexual harassment that can actually be refuted by witnesses. This is one of those rare cases. |

And like I said before (this thread? Trump thread? I can't remember) - ALL of this only goes to demonstrate how our legal system, and the concept of innocent until proven guilty, has become obsolete. Tucker was actually talking about it last night, and so was Hannity to an extent. In the 0bama era, colleges actively softened the requirements to prosecute for "sexual aggression" and misbehavior and politician-critters were on record saying "if ten are accused and one is actually guilty, it's best to get rid of all ten". In other words, guilty until proven innocent. THIS is the problem here. Again - as I said in the other post - I could care less about Franken personally. Or Trump. Or Moore. STAND UP and FIGHT. Tell the press to PROVE IT. Screw the court of public opinion; get it proven beyond a shadow of a doubt in a court of LAW. And, get the press to stop printing stuff without fact-checking. They print and tweet these bullshit stories that are re-tweeted 50,000 times and get tens of thousands of hits, even though they're completely FABRICATED...then they post a "retraction" or a "correction" - on page 98, not page one above the fold - and it gets...maybe 25 hits? 4 re-tweets? BULL-shit. Stuff like that needs to be prosecuted. The press has figured out the exposure trends and I dare anyone to tell me they're not doing that on purpose. It furthers their cause, but covers their ass in the "well, we printed a retraction...". What a crock. |

McCabe draws blank on Democrats’ funding of Trump dossier, new subpoenas planned
quote:Sources close to the investigation say that McCabe was a “friendly witness” to the Democrats in the room, who are said to have pressed the deputy director, without success, to help them build a case against President Trump for obstruction of justice in the Russia-collusion probe. “If he could have, he would have,” said one participant in the questioning. Investigators say McCabe recounted to the panel how hard the FBI had worked to verify the contents of the anti-Trump “dossier” and stood by its credibility. But when pressed to identify what in the salacious document the bureau had actually corroborated, the sources said, McCabe cited only the fact that Trump campaign adviser Carter Page had traveled to Moscow. Beyond that, investigators said, McCabe could not even say that the bureau had verified the dossier’s allegations about the specific meetings Page supposedly held in Moscow. The sources said that when asked when he learned that the dossier had been funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, McCabe claimed he could not recall – despite the reported existence of documents with McCabe’s own signature on them establishing his knowledge of the dossier’s financing and provenance.
Hang 'em high! The entire conspiracy to bring down a duly elected President is falling to pieces. |

Most of us here probably don't personally have to worry about having a Grindr account used by the Red Chinese People's Army Intelligence branch against them. But the potential for blackmail is huge and a real concern for military & industrial espionage. Not to mention political blackmail. You think a fake file paid for by opposition research is a political issue, wait until your Congressman's preference of "smooth young surfer types" hits the news....... or is used to blackmail a vote favorable to China. I've long said I don't care if a politician is gay. But closeted homosexuals, like the congressman trying to get sex in an airport bathroom, are open for blackmail. ( Putin no doubt has extensive files on the former President ) The Russians have long used honey traps where visiting businessmen and politicians who use prostitutes are blackmailed. Especially gay prostitutes. It's easy to get the cooperation of prostitutes for these operations. Just arrest them and give them the choice of working with the KGB in defending their country, or...... ( & everyone in Russia knows what or..... means ) The Chinese also use this technique. Heck, Canada probably does. How much easier to just buy a "hook up" site and have all that information at hand? |

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/455522/me-to o-women-against-sexual-revolution The real problem with the sexual revolution is it wasn't a sexual renaissance. Imposed for selfish reasons instead of a call for self responsibility, it is inevitable that the revolution leaves wounded in it's wake. All revolutions do. Looked at differently, the rebellion against the limits of Puritanism and Victorian sexual hang ups, gave us new taboos and unspeakables by tearing down the yardage markers instead of rationally examining the limits and erecting new goal posts. Today's college student mills around with no direction in the end zone and is ignorant of the whole playing field. They're not enjoying the freedom of choice. They're stuck in the limited fantasy world of the 60's kid's revolt against the 50's censorship. Playboy philosophy without seeing Hustler's exploitation. In other words they are stuck in a "Mirror Mirror" Puritanism that punishes self discipline, demands sexual conformity, & gives the genitalia primacy over reason. The living version of the responsibility free heaven of adolescent fantasy. ( see Islamic heaven ) But reality isn't free from the results of irresponsibility. |

Armed Antifa Apparently Involved In Charlottesville Death Of Heather Heyer The defense for James Fields just gets stronger and stronger, that he was fleeing in fear for his life. The DOJ should really reexamine who they are charging for the death of Heather Heyer. |

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niven%27s_laws I will repeat that I avoid protests involving leftist loons. Niven's law applies. A. Don't throw shit at an armed man. B. Don't stand next to an idiot throwing shit at an armed man. This dates from 1968 when protesters at the R convention threw bags of human feces at police and got a violent response. Deserved? Maybe. I'd feel free to beat you with a club if you throw feces at me. I'm old fashioned that way. The police holding the line against communist agitators and violent mobs operate under different rules. I remember the protests. We were moving and listened to the radio in the car & watched on tv in the hotels. ( my Father's attitude on trips was..... non stop. I'm sure 2000 years ago other Dads told their sons, "A real Roman can hold his urine, son"...) Anyway, the riots, although I wasn't there, were real to me as history I lived through. That election led to the withdrawal from Vietnam. ( a destination that was in my future if the election had gone the other way) The betrayal of our ally by a Democrat Congress. And Watergate. Not going to violent agitprop "protests" is just good sense. It reduces your chances of being killed. It also reduces your chances of getting laid by an adrenaline horny hippie chick. YMMV |

California’s Self-Reporting Gun Block Bill a Reflection of Wider Cultural Suicide They really are crazy in CA. Do you really need to "self report" yourself as someone who should not be sold a gun? Is it really that hard to simply not buy a gun? Linking this to suicide is pretty stupid too. Will this registry also bar you from buying rope? Knives? Antifreeze? Water? |
