I've seen that before. This speaks volumes about the mental state of the person who reported badweb as a place to get ripped off: "These guys are the worst. Let me tell you. I joined their forum and was treated so poorly that I actually had to seek psychiatric help and am in the process of filing suit for harassment and slander and lost compensation." Sought psychiatric help for having his feelings hurt on the Internet, and is suing for lost compensation. Lost compensation? Was he posting at work and had his pay docked? LOL | ||

I'll vouch for Buellgrrl. I actually met her at a national BMW rally in Johnson City TN many years ago, out of the blue- regardless of whatever she's posted here, she didn't seem that unhinged or pathetic. And, IIRC didn't Rocket join up with a large group of us down in Suches many years ago? Again, he didn't seem vindictive enough to bother with such a vain, stupid attempt at undermining Blake and the BW in general. Who the F knows. For us, it's a waste of time and energy to identify whomever, unless we just need a clown for the dunk-tank. | ||

Oh yeah, thanks Frogs- with my morning coffee, seems the Rocket we're trying to remember was a Brit or some Euro guy. Given that Trump's the POTUS now, I guess his head exploded. Buellgrrl and I just met by chance at that BMW national rally- IIRC she noticed all my Buell stickers on my truck, as I was up there trying to sell my old '82 R65. She was on a BMW F650, had ridden cross country... also learned she was a certified BMW tech, maybe qualified for other brands too IIRC. Cool girl in my book. Back OT: When it gets down to brass tacks, all politics aside, we're here for 2 reasons- the love of motorcycles in general, and Buells in particular. Folks that take such great effort to undermine this community tend to awaken my interest in psychology... I truly appreciate everyone here... I can now claim scores of great friends across the country thanks to Blake and the Badweb. To a douche-canoe like the guy who generated the OP topic: DON'T F^*K with my friends.  | ||

I'm the same in person, but people seem less offended due to my gentle manner of speaking and friendly demeanor. Seen this years back never gave it any thought. Figured it was an unhappy person that got their opinion hurt. I will say Rocket is not a nice guy by any means. He is a pompous a**. Flat out, The only thing I can say about him is you at least know what you are getting he does not hide it! | ||
