I’m not a big poster on this, or any website, but I wanted to take a moment and say thanks to each and every one of you. The knowledge, entertainment, and humor this site has provided over the past 10 years that I have had my two Buells has been awesome. I started with a 2003 XB9 and then sold that to get a new 2008 XB12XT Ulysses that I just sold last week. I have leaned on this site and it’s collective knowledge many times for service, tips, and ideas. Although the Buells are gone my appreciation and respect for this site will remain. Thanks again guys and gals! |

I'm witcha, buddy. Although I'm riding an antique BMW now, I still keep up with all the great people/friends/riding buddies here, even with no Buell in the stable. Maybe one of these days you'll get to hang with us at Suches, or Little Switzerland, or... |

You will look back upon getting rid of the XT as one of the worst decisions you have made. You will miss it! |

I'm in the same boat as the OP. I got my 07 XBS after years of wanting one. After I had some issues with the HD lump in it, I got annoyed enough to sell it. It's a decision I regret almost every day. Even though I am looking at other brands and have focused in on a Versys 650 LT as my next ride. I still come here daily. I have found that the other boards are pretty much devoid of the camaraderie that exists here. |

I have found that the other boards are pretty much devoid of the camaraderie that exists here. Badweb is a unique place in that respect. Last year, when my bike died, the members here scrambled to help me. My brother, who isn't into bikes but loves his Miata, couldn't believe how the people here went to such great lengths for one of their own. The people here are a huge cut above the general population of motorcyclists, and I consider myself to be extremely fortunate to be considered a member here. |

I've been riding a Suzuki myself, and plan to purchase a Yamaha...but the Buell is still here, waiting for its day to be complete again. The folks here are interesting. |

Duc- in what had to have been one of the best strokes of luck I've ever gotten, a few years ago I traded my bike at the time, a 1979 Goldwing, for a 1977 BMW R75/7. EVEN trade, and I had about $1600 in the Wing. Of all the MC's I've had over the years, this Beemer is easily one of my faves. Original, non-restored, but all there. Found a Wixom fairing, also by great luck, had my buddy Vern paint it and mount it up... been riding the thing any chance I get. I call it my "house-shoes": Of all the shoes you might have in your closet, house-shoes are your favorite, and most comfortable. |

I had my '77 R100/7 from new until I gave it to my son in 2013 and loved it. He's giving it to my other son and I get to help him rehab it to running order this spring. |
