For those not on Facebook (God Bless You, that place is EVIL...), I thought you'd like to be aware that RW 750 #1 is slated to be auctioned off late January in Vegas.

I would love that RR1200. That was the first Buell I ever rode. I was waiting for my FLHS to get it's 1000 mile service and Dale Walksler asked me if I wanted to take it for a spin. Well duh! Iron heads and a 4 speed but boy did it handle! It may have been the RR1000 but it looked the same.

Interesting assortment . . . . my list, in terms of "value as a collectible" . . would be . . .
#1) RW750 (although if I were writing the check, my personal #1 would be the RR-200)
#2) RR1200
#3) XBRR
#4) 1190 RS
#5) Amsoil 1125 RR
But . . . I confess . . . the 1997 M2 Cyclone (arguably the best motorcycle ever built and I can prove it) would be a contender for my $$. It was a game changer.

Totally agree, I have an early 97 M2, ridden nearly all that came after and found my M2 not to be lacking. A great bundle (I do have to admit that a belt change could be easier to do, but hey - how often do you do that?(once in 30,000 miles for me)).
"didn't LAP own these items as part of the deal for EBR?"
Court Posted on Sunday, July 16, 2017 - 02:40 pm: "Erik has . . . and we did a pretty damn thorough and complete inventory (I took pics . . . much to his chagrin) of what HE owns. My bet is he is happier than a pig in shit to be out of this quagmire. Probably eating Indian food and planning his next move."
I'd bet Erik spent the bulk of his retirement stash from BMC &HD/Buell exit to build EBR. If you divide that unnamed amount by the number of bikes produced, even if you paid full retail, you can reckon you probably got a bargain. If any of those auction bikes are his personal bikes, I hope he makes a lot of money on them. He's earned it.

I was really lucky when I had to set up shop. I moved into an established shop and have all the room I need. A big deal, to me, was being able to keep my 1190RS in the front. Never gets below 60 dF or hotter than 80 dF.
Best part of every morning is patting Betty on the head as I go to work. Thank You Mr. Buell
