Nice pics! Glad I did not go out on the trails with you guys. I would think about nothing but getting my Jeep going for this kind of thing. I have too much stuff on my plate before that can happen for now.
Funny. When I take the FJ40 to Tahoe, I make sure to park on the snow piles. One time I parked completely on top of the pile of snow in the parking lot at Kirkwood. Had 2 Jeeps parked near me on the sides of the piles when I came out for lunch.
Gonna show a friend of mine the poser stand. He IS that guy.
I wish I had a picture, but my buddy used to use the winch on his IH and pull the front end up a tree. He would do this at work every day and after a couple of months he came out to find a ticket for "Illegal Parking". He fought it and won since there were no signs indicating he could not park on a tree. (he was mostly in one space so nothing they could do)
I was unloading some stuff into the barn the other day when...
Looks like a juvenile Bald Eagle to me. I watched him strutting around for about half an hour and finally decided I had stuff to do. He still hung around while I grabbed more stuff from the Jeep. Finally took off while my back was turned.
A buddy bought a 1976 Roadster. From a crack dealer, I think. It was rattle can black.
I searched for, and in pre-internet days, found a full set of the Peter Max decals for his birthday. Then he sold the bike back for stupidly small change without telling me even though I'd told him I'd buy it.
Just picked up a new Big Tex trailer to haul the Jeep to and from events and such. Spent the day removing stickers, painting the wheels, Dressing up the wiring harness a little (I didn't like the way it was hanging down) Then capped the day off with a test fit. Its 83" between the wheel wells. That gives me a little over a inch on both sides.
Acquired a 95 Chevy dually with a big head 454 and turbo 400. If I did not have so many trucks now it would make a great tow the Jeep truck. The only dually I have had that will light up the four posi linked tires!!
