I've got a Droid Turbo 2 that's been rock solid for the past year and a half or so. I wouldn't hesitate on another Motorola. |

I would expect it to be good. Moto's stuff is pretty top tier, hell it costs more than my iPhone 7... Z |

I still have my original Droid from when they first came out... It still works perfectly, and I loved having the slide out keyboard. I'll post a review once I've had this thing for a week or so.... should get here tomorrow |

I had a droid turbo (I think). Worked great till one day - right after the contract was up, naturally - it went into a perpetual reboot loop whenever it was connected to either wifi or network. I was able to sneak in one time and turn off all radios and that stopped the looping. Verizon simply shrugged and said "I dunno". Since my sound company's concert system can be run from an iDevice (ipad/iphone/Macbook), I made the jump to an iPhone 6. Apple still does dumb shit that I have issues with, like most recently a change - with no warning - to redundant sign-in verification for AppleID; in other words, anytime you want to get an app or do anything in the App Store, you have to have not one, but TWO devices in hand because one will get a verification code for the other and it won't let you in without it. Theres a way to turn it off...but I never turned it ON in the first place. But other than their Big Brother update mentality, I've been happy enough with their platform I guess. Phone (in a Pelican case) seems sturdy enough, not quite 3 years and counting now. Until it went into its loop-issue, I enjoyed having the Droid. Mainly because it WASN'T an Apple! But given the ability to run my system with my phone, it made business sense to convert. |

There's a way to retrieve the code before you need it. I read about it on Apple's site after they forced me to use 2fa for my iTunes account, and then wouldn't let me retrieve the step-up auth code when it asked for one without closing the app and invalidating the code. Who tested this crap?. Seemed like pre-fetching the code was a bigger bother than it was worth, so I turned off 2fa. My password is complex enough, and the risk is low. |
