I'm not sure about this shooter being associated with Antifa, but it seems that he often ranted about "stupid Christians" and his atheist beliefs. Sounds a bit like one of our own. I also read that he was a Hillary supporter, according to his FaceBook page, but I can't confirm this for certain. He certainly doesn't fit the mold for a conservative. Why is it that the vast majority of these mass murderers are leftists? It sure helps explain them wearing Che t-shirts. | ||

A botched robbery apparently is when someone walks up behind you in the street with nerves of Steele, plans the perfect moment with no witnesses or cameras, shoots you in the head, then walks on, not stopping to take anything obvious from the body. After all, if wallet, keys, and watch are untouched, there's no reason to suspect a USB drive is missing, right? ( sounds like a perfect assassination/robbery to me ) All other Russian interference in the election seems to be buying Facebook adds mostly against Donald after the election. ( if that is proof of guilt, CNN would be..... ) And of course the infamous meeting with Donald jr. Where the same people who helped create The Dossier, told the Donald campaign they had dirt on Clinton but actually were lobbying for Vladimir. He walked out when he found out they'd lied to see him. The only known Russian collusion are the bribes to Obama and Hillary and the live mike plea from Obama, personally to the Russian President for Vladimir to delay any embarrassing action until after Obama was reelected. Which he politely did. Holding off on invading Ukraine until after November. | ||

Unhinged liberals are everywhere in this current political climate. Thanks to obviously biased algorithms, I'm bombarded with liberal progressive socialist Democrat propaganda daily, and what is being relayed and how people react to it is crazy. It's backwardsland everywhere. What is most telling, is that as far as political motives, if a violent act appears to further the progressive narrative it is sensationalized incessantly and immediately politicized. If it does not, it remains a local story, or the motives are unknown...the reasons are unclear. On one hand you'll get a perpetrators life story by the next day. On the other, the perpetrators life story will be erased from every source possible and blatantly obscured. | ||

There are non-legal ways to game that. Build the wall up to the edge of their property and have huge signs pointing at the gap that say in multiple languages, "trap". Build a border control facility next door with cameras and arrest crossers as they step beyond the property line. Or if you're really mean, fence right around the property on the U.S. side and have the State Legislature tax such properties extra for revenue. | ||

One of the criticisms of Trump is some instance of him getting a local government to condemn some private property so he could build a casino, maybe in Connecticut. I have the impression that in some states, pretty shallow justifications are allowed for the local governments to do this for private ventures if they can dream up some connection to "public good": more jobs, etc. | ||

Absolutely not. We've got enough restrictions on gun ownership already, regardless of politics. Felony past? I can see that. But start asking party affiliation and you open up a whole new can of worms that'll end up - I guarantee it - with more restrictions for EVERYONE. I'm a law-abiding conservative in the state of Maryland, and it's pretty much impossible for me to EVER get a carry permit, and it's hoops after hoops in order to even get approved to purchase a handgun. Long guns? Instant approval. Handgun? Um....no, not in this state, because of all the special interest loophole bullshit that you're talking about adding to with a "have you ever been a liberal" question. Count me out. If they're not a convicted felon, and they can be a responsible owner...go for it. This guy...is NOT responsible, and deserves what he gets. | ||

I agree. Should have not assumed the irony and sarcasm were obvious. I'm pretty much full libertine on the subject. Equal rights, equal responsibility, I feel there is no reason to accept one more millimeter of restrictions and demand the repeal of unconstitutional laws. The debate on rights is ongoing and important. The notion that veterans are automatically PTSD and therefore are mentally ill, and therefore should be denied their rights is appalling. A Religious or ethnic or political justification for violating your rights is specifically unconstitutional. Insert swear word here. |
