Not sure about taking up arms in the "go out and attack" sense, but...come after me or mine, I'd have zero issue defending my person or property. Define "total eradication" - kill all of them? Or eliminate the first wave and watch the rest of them get a bewildered look on their faces when they realize "um...this isn't Call of Duty?", and go hide in their safe place? | ||

I suspect that conservatives by their very nature, are the "bigger man" sort and are smart enough to stay on the defensive until the last possible moment. Thus far, groups like Antifa and Soros haven't been very effective, and in the grand scheme they haven't been deadly-violent. Yet. I suspect that once deadly force becomes a common defensive requirement...we'll see a global shift in conservative tactics. To this point, though, bloodshed just hasn't been required. Vegas shooter and NYC bike path and Texas church are, thankfully, still anomalies - and the Texas situation may have been the starting point / wakeup call (to liberals as well as conservatives) that yes...we WILL fight back when provoked. Effectively. As to "can" it be stopped...again, I think a deadly-force eradication of the first wave will pretty much shut things down, if the liberals even get organized enough to put something substantial and coherent together. At the moment, they're nothing but a random terrorist-attack organization and guerrilla tactics are all that can be used on a case-by-case basis. There's no reason to use deadly force against the head of the snake...yet. Once they organize and cause mass casualties then yes, they become the generals of an opposing force and therefore fair game. Currently? They're just misguided politicians, not leaders of an armed force. Conservatives are smart enough to leave it up to THEM (the Liberals) to decide whether they transition from an annoyance...to a paramilitary target. If we decide...we're the bad guys. I think we already took a shot over their bow when we elected Trump! That caused them to run to their safe place! Once again, since they can't win a factual debate they go into tantrum mode. We sit back and laugh at them but if they ever get emboldened enough to pick up a gun, they want to ban, and aim in our direction then I guess we'll see who's the better shot! Speaking of banning guns...I'm a benefactor member of the NRA and love the Second Amendment but sometimes I wonder if we shouldn't let Democrats have guns. I mean if we disarmed them crime would go down by 90%!  | ||
