The press seems to be stressing that the shooter didn't have Texas gun license. That's true, but as far as I can tell, he didn't shoot anyone with a pistol, he shot people with a rifle that he didn't need a permit for. I don't get it. | ||

Having been court martialed from the military for assaulting his wife, I wouldn't think he could legally purchase a rifle. He posted a picture of the rifle in late October, implying it was a new acquisition. Obviously, what we need are more gun laws that can be ignored by those who intend to do harm. | ||
